Its sort of small, but I think its the perfect size It does make a tick-tok sound in a quiet room (I didn't care for at first but now I'm used to it.)I love the look and how its just "melted"on the edge of my books!

Very flimsy.
The entire clock is plastic. Would have been nicer with a heavier material. Also could use a counter balance weight. Even with that being said its exactly what its supposed to be....a melting clock ala Salvador Dali
