I ordered this refresh my memory about card games I used to play with my family at family gatherings as a child. Now I play online and needed a refresher for the rules. This is perfect.

Perfect book to look up games

The book arrived promptly. It is filled so many card games. Unfortunately my mom was looking for a book on just Solitaire card games. This was a bit too extensive for her. I returned it with ease. The seller promptly refunded our money. Great seller!

Bought this book specifically for rules to a card game we play called Golf. I wanted some definitive rules and this book claimed to be the "definitive guide to contemporary card games." It is not in this book. I looked it up under every different name I could find, but to no avail. In addition, the book appears to be cheaply made.However, when I looked up other games I found many and they were clearly explained so I will give it 4 stars.

Paper is very low grade . Book starts on page 27.

If it's a card game that can be played with one or more standard decks of 52 playing cards (with or without the Jokers) it's probably in this book. I bought it so my wife and I could brush up on various poker games for Casino Night with our friends. I am impressed with how many other games are in here. There must be hundreds. We may need to practice a lot, before we can be proficient. But, at least we will know the rules and get some nice tips on the best moves. Good purchase.

Everything in this book feels right. No rules ambiguity, the cover is really nice, the paper is good quality, paragraphs are really well written.I carry this book arround with two desks of cards and i play anytime i can with friends. Really good book.
