Where to start with this? I have chronic migraines and one thing I noticed over a year ago was that a cylinder pillow like this really helped me not wake up with migraines by supporting my neck during the night. So when my current loyal pillow had worn out, I went searching for a replacement. I did a ton of digging around reviews and styles etc and kept coming back around to this one. I have to say, I'm glad I ultimately got this. So here's the skinny...Packaging: First thing to note, this pillow arrives as squished down and sealed up as you would think would ever be possible. Mine was nearly folded three times. Needless to say, eyebrows raised and I was initially thinking, "well crap." I did however, remember that from the reviews, this was to be expected and the pillow should recover nicely. So, I took it out, rolled and mushed it around to mix up all the bits inside, and left it sitting on my dining table for about 45 minutes. True to reviews, it "floofed" up very well and did have that memory foam feel inside, holding a shape after I pressed against it then slowly releasing that shape after a little bit.Support: So this pillow offered the softness you'd expect from memory foam but still managed to support my neck comfortably after me using it sitting up in bed watching TV for a couple hours. After I went to bed, I noticed that it contoured well and was really very comfortable no matter whether I was laying on my side or my back. I had passed out before I even realized it and noticed that I had no aches or pains this morning that would indicate any type of odd sleeping position or kinks during the night.Composition: The stitching seems quite solid and the cover is soft and appears sturdy as well. I will have to hunt down a pillow case for it or make one, but I don't expect this cover to fall apart any time soon. For me it's more about keeping it clean than worrying about it coming apart.Overall, this pillow is, in my opinion, worth every bit I spent (which wasn't much since it was really a good price) and I would definitely recommend this to anyone else looking for support during sleep or lounge/binge watching time. It's important to me to have certain comforts due to my migraines and this just made that list.

For those who were wondering like myself, the pillow measures appr 8"x20" when fully fluffed and stretched out however when it's that way I feel like it doesn't provide much neck support. So if your looking for a case like myself, this might be tricky. I'll probably be ordering one that's 16" - 18" long to squeeze it down so it'll provide more neck support. Otherwise you have to do a lot of fluffing and so forth. Which isn't bad. I'm looking for something to support my neck, that space where nothing is when I lay my head down on my pillow. It comes squeezed in a little bag so give it time to adjust to its full size. And it arrived very quick!!!

I do not like this product and would not buy again. The pillow stuffing compresses a lot even with very little weight on it. If I put it under my neck, under my knees or between my knees while laying on my side it squeezes down to about an inch of thickness. The cover is not removable and it does not come with a pillowcase, and I was unable to find a case that would fit. Because there is no case, I wash the entire pillow and wait days for it to dry. The first time I washed it I did not want to risk putting it in the dryer and it was still wet 5 days later. Now when I wash it, I dry it on ultra low for 4 cycles of 50 minutes and after that it takes about 3 days to dry. I don't like that there isn't an easy option for a cover and I am stuck with the appearance. It's not bad looking but I would prefer something that looks like it belongs with my bedding. The outside is beginning to pill, perhaps because I dried it in my dryer.Updated 12/22/18: Tossed in the trash!! The last time I washed it I dried it for a total of 250 minutes on low in my dryer by itself. It still took 7 days to completely dry. This is an incredible waste of energy. What finally made me toss this is that I got a whiff of moldy funk smell during the night while changing positions. Bleh! It's not surprising given how long it takes to dry.

I purchased this item because the description states it is machine washable and dryable. However, the tag specifically states otherwise (see photo). Looks like it would do what I needed but it goes flat immediately no matter what I do. And although I have other shredded foam that I could add to it, there's no zipper. Still searching for my pillow I guess...

This is a wonderful pillow! I use it as a neck support for tv watching in bed - very soft and supportive. The most important use is supporting my right arm when sleeping on my left side. I had a total right shoulder replacement, and have really struggled to sleep well without knockout pain killers, and a very stiff, sore shoulder in the a.m.This pillow keeps my right arm supported so there is no strain on the shoulder! I can relax and get to sleep ( and stay asleep) and wake relatively pain- free. If you suffer similar issues from post shoulder surgery/sleep trouble, try this pillow!!

My husband bought himself one and loved it so I got myself one too. It's super comfortable and conforms nicely to my neck in different positions. I wanted a pillow case and, as I posted in my response to a question, I found one that fits. It's by "My Pillow"-- the neck bolster pillow case. It's just a little long but otherwise fits well.

The pillow looked good and was sewn together well but it had no substance at all. It flattened to nothing. There was not enough filling and the filling was not of good quality. I returned it.
