Comfort is key
If you have ever needed to wear the cheap goggles from science class or for work you realize how bad the standard cheap goggles are, uncomfortable even for short terms and over long terms are just painful. The Uvex S700 are a great middle ground for something affordable for hobbyists and good enough to be used in a lab, they have superior visibility, a soft and vented frame and the seal is soft and comfortable. They also fit well when wearing a respirator. The replaceable lens even makes it better, no need to junk the goggles just for some scratches, snap on this lens and they are like new at half the cost, so I would strongly recommend these for people that are on a budget but need good comfortable eye protection
