Talk about a perfect laptop! Well made, battery life is amazing. Does everything I need it to. And I added a 512Gb micro sd card and have lots of room to edit my raw photos. Editing large photos is slow, but for $155 it does the job. And since I have a Samsung phone it's easy to have everything connected.

Disclaimer: I'm not a tech savvy person. I bought this as a cost effective means to telecommute from home for work. I am pleased with the quality, user friendly set up, and impressive battery life as advertised. But i'm very disappointed with the screen. Even thought it's HD, the screen material kind of negates the HD quality because it's not a smooth, glossy type screen. If you're tight on money and you need this just for working from home or want a device just for watching movies/videos as an alternative to doing so on your phone, then this device would probably serve you well. I wouldn't recommend this if you need a flawless, smooth quality HD screen for viewing, or if you have high tech needs. I recently discovered that I could not download itunes to this chromebook due to incompatibility.

As previous, the older generation c500 is black, feels less cheap, and over all feels like a better machine. Comes in Charcoal Grey, is thicker than the other model and seems to preform about the same. Pictures by other user are accurate of what you get. If it was the exact of the pictured item, this would be 5Star for sure.

We have 2 laptops and a desktop in our house and this sucker still gets used 95% of the time. Perfect size and weight to keep on the couch and able to do all the websurfing we need. Zero boot-up time, tons of battery power, and I'm able to do everything I did with my heavy, hot laptop.If you have a garmin the work around is to plug it into the usb port and access the files manually to upload. takes all of 10 seconds to do. It was the one thing that had me worried with the no HD part of chromebooks.

I just got this laptop and it is soooo sluggish. I have a good strong wi-fi connection so I don’t know what the problem is. It also doesn't function properly half the time. Not sure if I got a defective one or what. I used to have an ASUS (bought in 2015) and it was much faster and had better screen resolution than this one. I will be returning this one for another ASUS. I had higher expectations for a supposedly 2018 model Samsung. It also looks outdated, which wouldn't bother me if it worked like it's supposed to but it doesn't, so... unfortunately it's going back.

I purchased this Chromebook for my daughter. She needed a light portable device to work with spreadsheets and documents as a leader in the girl scouts and a couple of sports teams. She loves the portability and convenience the Chromebook.

I love the chromebook for its size, but it doesn't get the 11 hours of battery power as advertised. If I use for 5 hours off a wifi connection, I may have about 1 hour left. That's ok for the time frame I need, but I was hoping to get 2 days of use instead of one. Other than that I love it and it will get plenty of use.
