It's pretty great. The worst thing I could say about it is that there's metal flakes on the metal tubes, so you have to use gloves or get metal on your hands which I think could be pretty toxic, not sure. Then I could tell that it was spray painted silver in places to keep it not looking rusty here and there (metal stuff like this is bound to rust, and I expected to find that, and I did) but overall I think it definitely panned out to what it was supposed to be. I do really like it a lot. I set it up and broke it down by myself, and I'm an average sized guy. It took a little longer than I was hoping, but I was moving pretty slow. The instructions say not to set it up by yourself, to use two people, and that would have been smarter, but I didn't have someone else to help with it, so I just did it. One tiny negative was the little bungees are a little tough to get on, like they require a little hand strength I could have done without, but you just pull harder, and snap 'em in, they were fine overall. If you like what you read, everything good about it I read seemed to be true. No missing parts, no defects, it's definitely good. Wait, there was one tiny, tiny defect: two out of 12 of the velcro loops were sewn in the wrong place, off by about six inches, so they didn't connect. It didn't matter though, I just used one of the bungees they give you to stretch the loop farther, it was totally fine. There's even some neat things about it that aren't documented, like, there were little ties you could use to roll up the bottom if you use the short-height. Even folding it back up I found do-able, which I expected to be impossible. I used a ladder to help me fold it back up, to keep it nice and put it away for when I need it again. I didn't leave it set up, but it looks like it could take a storm, just fine. I didn't even tie it down when it was set up, and there was sort of a gusty wind that day, it didn't go anywhere. I'd bolt it down if I were to use it for longer though. There's little holes in the feet, so you could screw it onto some wood and weigh down the wood if you wanted. Overall I think it's great.

Disliked the packaging (heavy bouncing poles and very little packaging tape which resulted in the package arriving open on one end) and as a result we received two dented poles and missing triangle hooks that we could not get instructions for as to where to use the hooks. We got the car port canopy and parts a week after the date of order but needed the replacement parts which took a couple of weeks more. So, allow time to get damaged or missing parts (requires photos for damage). Overall, it seems like a decent, relatively sturdy car port canopy but we haven't experienced high winds yet. A couple of hints for putting together: make sure canopy is not upside down (ha), and if you don't want to use the rope tie-downs, you could try 2x4s cut about a foot long with sharp point on one end to pound into ground and screw the pole bases into them. That seems to work well (so far). Customer service was helpful but couldn't answer the triangle hooks question beyond them providing more stability (the specs don't show their usage).

I purchased my carport in December of 2021, but I did not put it up until about May of 2022. It went up very easy with just myself, and my son. Shortly after I received my carport, I was contacted by Betty from customer service. Betty asked how everything was with the carport. I told her that I was not ready to put it up until after winter had passed. Once I put it up, I contacted Betty to let her know how it went. There was a couple of spots in the roof that looked like they could develop into holes eventually as well as a couple of stretch marks. I was asked to follow up with some photos, which I did. Betty contacted me again and offered me either a discount or a replacement Top for the carport. I choose the replacement top, and it arrived in less than a week. I will defiantly be purchasing my next carport from Advanced Outdoors, to get anything better you will pay a lot more money and be lucky to receive the customer service that I did from Betty.Thanks, Betty, for all your helpTom

Very happy with this. It's very easy to set up, one person can do it no problem.I use it for parties only, not sure how it would be as a permanent structure, but it really does. The job during the summer For shade and for weather during a party.

Fabric is very thin and has small holes everywhere, sides do not fit properly. One of the door zippers is broken. If it last a month it will be a miracle. Worst quality I have ever seen. Buyer beware!!!

Just set this up. Mostly alone although I had help lifting it onto the spa. Its heavy duty and a carport but the instructions say take it down in wind and snow. I am protecting the spa from wind an snow so obviously I won’t. I like the way it fit together with press in buttons and the roof is a great fit. I bought extra stakes and polyester cord to help stake it. I left it partially complete and it got windy but not enough to damage it. I have to fit it around a wall so had to cut one side and one pole. It appears that 180 gsm equals about an 8 mil tarp. I staked and tied the corner poles straight down the poles. I’ll use heavier duty stakes to brace the corners. The instructions get very vague about securing it requiring some creativity to firmly stake it. I love the adjustable legs which helped install it high enough to open the spa cover and on our uneven ground.

Received quickly. Seems very sturdy and durable but color was not as described and will not work for me. Returning .
