Great shoes!
I've worn Birkenstock's off and on for years. These were just what I expected, a supportive easy-to-wear shoe. Although the foot bed is firm it's been easier than expected to break them in, even with my "problem feet."

Birkenstock's arizona woman's sandal
I love Birkenstock sandals but Amazon keeps shipping me the soft footbed when what I ordered was the original (hard) footbed. It's happened four times now (for the Granadas, Floridas, and the Arizona)and I'm giving up finally. The price was excellent each time, but unfortunately the shoe box specifications about the shoe inside are written in German, and the persons in the shipping dept don't read German, so they can't tell that when it says "weichbettung," it means soft footbed. A soft footbed doesn't begin to give me the support I need and get from the original footbed Birkenstock (which is much harder). Also, this last time I was sent a narrow ("shmal" in German is written on the box)shoe when I ordered a medium width. I imagine it is for the same reason.

Fell apart
A little after a month, between the cork and rubber completely split apart and the leather strap came off. Don’t believe these are the genuine article. Learned my lesson and will only buy Birks from reputable store.
