The u2-plus is just absolutely amazing. Very easy to set up. I use the SIM card option so its basically a cell phone. It is very very fast. There is no lag at all. GPS works great with Google Maps, and Waze is also installed. SIM card works great (I use Mint Mobile. Just in case someone with the service is researching if works with this provider). Updating the device is also nice and easy. Bluetooth phone function works perfect. Wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay works perfect with no issues and its a nice smooth working. Almost all apps work on this device. Just a FYI if you don't want to use the SIM Card option you can get PDAnet+(You would need to buy this app and also install it on both your phone and the device. I have tested this out, and it works perfectly) so you can use your phones data plan and not the hotspot data. The support team is pretty good and response within 24 hours or less. The amount of space the device comes with is a nice size 64GB. You can also expand with TF card to 128GB which I have done. I put a bunch of movies and shows on it. They have the apps needed to play videos from your storage. The best and my most favorite thing about this device is the split screen. I am able to have NETFLIX, etc. and the navigation on the screen at the same time. It is very smooth WITH no LAG this device is very fast for how small it is you will not be disappointed. All the controls on your wheel will work VOL UP, VOL DOWN, and VOICE CMD. I have been using the device for a couple of days now with high usage with no issues. Additionally, I have a trick to keep the device cool is to have a car phone mounting kit on the vent so the AC hits the back of it and keeps it nice and cool. The sound went wacky after 4 months now I can't even use it. Every article says to update the firmware except there are NO updates for the "Play2video" model I bought. Unless you speak Mandarin, there is no one from Ottocast to help you. Amazon should NOT offer these bricks for sale!

It’s Android, so you can download any app from Google Play. Of course only the passenger will watch videos, not the driver. Netfix, YouTube, your app for TV shows, Facebook, Pandora, all of them. You can pair to your phone’s personal hotspot for the data, or put a cellular SIM card in it to not mess with the pairing on each startup. My wife watches her Hallmark shows on long trips. Google maps works without having to be at a stop to type in the destination address. I had a problem with the SIM card slot, but customer service took care of it.

Bought this as a work around for my Toyota that only supports apple car play but not android auto. It works good sometimes. Most of the time it is a buggy mess and will cause more frustration than it's worth. On the manufacturers website not Amazon the product maker states it is only designed to work properly on a vehicle that supports the type of car play you intend to use.

Had some hiccups to begin with.Audio inconsistencies meanwhile with CarPlay and or Android Auto. This was solved by asking manufacturers for the latest firmware updates. Pretty large file 1.6GB of updates, nevertheless got it downloaded, loaded onto a microSD.Took around 10 minutes in total to load and update. Since than, both CarPlay and Android Auto works.I do prefer the standalone Android OS to stream music or watch news streaming in a parking lot waiting for friends. Sound is clear and Sharp.Wished the on board interface having more user configurations than one general audio play widget.
