This is the oil can I used as a kid. It's identical to the original from 50 years ago! Puts oil exactly where you need it with no drips or messes. Holds a full container of 3M oil and I love the distinctive click-click sound it makes when you dispense a drop of oil. Plus it just looks cool sitting on the shelf and puts a smile on my face every time I use it. The fact is, I'm more likely to lubricate tools and machinery when the oil is handy and easy to use - so I guess you could say this little oil can saves you time and money down the road. Great price - don't bother scouring the web, this is the best price I found.

I've bought tons of stuff on Amazon over the years but this is the first time that I've felt compelled to write a review. I almost didn't buy this little oil can because of some of the poor reviews. I'm glad that I didn't listen to them and bought it. I don't know if they got defective products or are they writing poor reviews for a rival company. This is a good old fashioned oil can. I filled it with 3-in-1 oil. It doesn't leak. Oil doesn't flow out of it. You can put a single drop of oil wherever you want it. Great made in USA product. So good that I bought a second!

I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but the can has performed as expected; no leaks, great size, good click on the bottom of the can to dispense mineral sharpening oil.The finishing on the tip of the spout is rough, and has a sharp spot on the metal, but it is minor and hasn’t affected performance.

Like other reviews of my other Goldenrod oil pumps, I give this one high praise as well. I trashed my "import" pumps that would work, then not work, then maybe work at times after I got these. Some have light oil, heavy oil, one with tractor hyd fluid, other with cutting fluid. They all work, and still work.

Perfectly simple, perfectly functional. I use this for AW32 oil for accurately oiling the spindle and other lube points of my metal lathe, without the mess that other methods tend to produce. I own a couple of Goldenrod products and I've been completely pleased with them. Now I need to replace the terrible oil can I got at an auto parts store that I use for way oil. It leaks all over and it drains down the tube so I have to pump it multiple times every time I use it. Time to buy another Goldenrod!

This thing leaked like a sieve from the first day with fluid in it. The leak is where the cap screws onto the body. I tried different gasket materials to no avail. It gets more lube on my hands and where I set it down than on the project. As soon as it is empty and cleaned out, it is going in the trash. Just a big mess maker this thing is.

Had used this can for about 2½ years its held up great people say it leaks but I wrapped Teflon tape around the threads now it doesn't leak. I like the long spout for hard to reach places or when I can not use a spray can as I don't want oil on parts that's where this little can comes in handy it fits my needs for working on cars and lawn mowers as far as sewing machines this can you can use thick or very thin lubricant just be care how you tilt the can all and all its nice to buy American made products that big box stores don't carry.

Nice product. I think a bit overpriced.
