Balsa is Not Oak
I get this balsa for building small sets for stop-action films. It's fine for the basic framework, but you would probably need other materials for finishing purposes. A man has got to know balsa's limits, and if you do, go for it. (I could get this at a craft shop, but can't stand the trip and the clientele. Amazon is soooo much easier.)

All Sticks Broken!
We observed the box to be slightly damaged, but upon opening all sticks in an enclosed package were broken. It was obvious that the sticks did not fit in the box size selected for shipping!! Very disappointing!!
