Works great for charging Jackery battery from solar panel
I bought this to charge my Jackery battery from my solar panel. I cut off the SAE connector to plug it into the pigtails coming off my solar charge controller (much better connectors). At first I thought it wasn’t working but you have to push it into the Jackery much more firmly than you’d think for it to seat properly because there is a bit of a bump of plastic that needs to be seated, which I guess helps it stay connected so it doesn’t pops loose when charging.

Works with Jackery Explorer
The item works as expected. The cable feels to be higher quality than I expected and works well to connect to a Jackery Explorer. As with any SAE connection check your connections to be sure that your polarity will be what you expect. Both cables I received are wired so that the if the SAE end is connected so that the red is + the center of the 8mm connector will be positive which is exactly as it should be. The part to pay attention to is how you are supplying power to the SAE connection since depending on what other cables, "Y"s or adapters you may be using it would be possible to have this reversed.

Doesn't Work on Goal Zero 8mm
Works but definitely check your Polarity. So I attached this adapter to my Goal Zero Yeti 150 and Nothing....which was actually a good thing because the polarity was inverted. I totally forgot about the little adapter piece that came with the package. After hooking up that little connector and conducting a double check on my Voltmeter everything is working well.

If you want this for your Jackery, make sure your solar panels do NOT have a charge controller
I have Zamp solar panels with an integrated charge controller. I also have a Jackery 500 that also has it's own charge controller (AKA battery management system/BMS) This cable will NOT work in this scenario. If you want use this cable to charge your Jackery with any solar panels, just make sure your solar panels do NOT have a charge controller (or bypass the controller with some modifications) since the Jackery has a charge controller integrated.Google search "How To Connect Third-Party Solar Panels To Jackery Explorer" to learn about bypassing a charge controller...
