8"x12" Cotton Muslin Drawstring Bags, 50 Pack

We ordered these bags as welcome bags for our out of town guests at our wedding. We created a custom stamp that we used on the front of them and we filled them with bags of treats like crackers, trail mix, pretzels, and candy, a schedule, welcome note and maps of the city. They were the perfect size to fill and distribute and our guests loved them. At this price, they were about the same price as using disposable paper gift bags and they felt so much more personalized and higher end.They aren't super thick but after washing, you can't see the contents of the bag through them. My only word of caution is that if you are planning on washing them, retie the drawstring pulls because if you don't, the knots come out and they are a mess to retie.

These muslin bags are great. My only complaint is that the strings can come out if not knotted. I recommend knotting the ends together before using to keep the ends from unraveling and to keep the strings in the bag. If a string does come out, the only way to get it back in is with a tapestry needle.

These bags are very strong and they cannot be ripped by any object other than a cutting or pointed edge. I got these bags to store things and their accessories and they are great for that job. I could put tools, nuts and bolts, items - like a voltmeter and its accessories, etc, etc. With the material being so tough I plan to buy a larger size and put other things in them, especially electronic things - since they can be aired out from moisture and not gather dust. I saw nothing but women reviews before, but I gave it a chance (50 bags for $23.99) and the bags are perfect for storing any heavy items that can fit in them.
