Inches. It's a nice size. Not too big and not too small. It holds quite a lot. I really like this bag.

I don’t have that color, but have the dark green and the sky blue and they are great bags and do look exactly like the posted pictures.

Depends on your definition of ‘work bag’. While the bag is very pretty, it’s more like a carry bag and not a shoulder bag (straps are short). It is very roomy like a tote bag. Well made and durable, but if for items like ie 5 text books or heavy files which it will fit but then the durability might decrease and a load to carry. Also there’s no closure snaps or zippers so not very secure. Very trendy & unique bag. Hope this helps.
