Mom always had these nice pretty terry cloth kitchen towels with a pretty design on them and I always felt guilty using them to clean up kitchen messes that might stain.That is not a problem with these towels. These towels are utilitarian, strong, absorbent and nothing special to look at. Work towels, not decorations. Exactly what I need in the kitchen. They wash nicely, they haven't fallen apart. And I'll probably be buying another dozen before the end of the year.

I purchased these dish towels because they were very reasonably priced for a12-pack and I liked the red plaid design. They look exactly like they do in the pictures in the Amazon listing. The towels seem a little thicker than most towels of this type that I've used. They're not very soft but I've only washed them one time so far. They're also pretty wrinkly at this point. They'll get softer and wrinkle less after they've been washed a few more times. Absorbency and drying time are more important to me than softness and thess towels are very absorbent and they dry quickly. All in all, I'm very happy with the towels.

I bought these to go with a BBQ gift basket and they were perfect as a quick mop up dishtowel. Great color and construction.

I like these towels, light, absorbent, nice looking, just note, they do shrink after washing. Look at the review photos other people posted; they are accurate, so if shrinkage bothers you....They are a bit stiff out of the box, but once washed, they are super soft. I'm buying another set.

These babies are well made, and are incredibly thirsty!! They wash well, absorb liquids rather quickly and are very attractive in a neutral pallet sort of way. In any event, they are worth the money. Get them, any of my family reading this.....you too may receive a set for Christmas. If you're on the fence, get off......and order you a set, hell order two!!!Marion.

I like the color. The fabric it’s strong weave but it takes a long time to get these to wick and absorb water.

I am SO tired of the 'famous woman' (I apologize, but) crap!!! Apparently, I can't leave a review for each separate towel - because they are completely different! The plaid towels are more of what I call a "hard" cotton ... When I got them, I was rather concerned about whether or not the plaid would be as absorbant & and functional as the stripe because they turned out to be totally different fibers ... These towels are not "soft" by any stretch, and oh my how they wrinkle in the wash!!! But, I was surprised! They are AWESOME!!! If you don't dry them to a crisp (leave them just a touch damp), you can smooth out the wrinkles if appearance is your goal. Mine is functionality. These are lint-free, and do an amazing job of drying/wiping off glassware or anything else I need them for! The color is awesome (I wash my kitchen towels in bleach - I'm kind of 'old school') and they have not faded one bit after 3 or 4 washings. Highly recommend - if you want functionality over just "pretty to look at" stuff .... ;)

Love em, nice and absorbent and it's great to finally be able to throw out all our random mis matched ones and just have a big stack of these.
