KONG - Cozie Buster Koala - Indoor Cuddle Squeaky Plush Dog Toy - for Medium Dogs

My 6½ month old puppy picked this toy out himself. We were at a puppy training class at my local Petco and he kept grabbing at this particular toy every time we walked past it. I don't know if this interest was due to the color or shape, but there was something about the green alligator that got his attention above all the other KONG toys displayed there alongside this. He stole it off the display so many times that the fur on the toy was getting stiff from his drool and I felt obligated to buy it. Turns out I am glad I did because it has become one of his favorites and has proven durable for a plush toy.In the "Ali the Alligator" listing photo there appears to be something tied around the neck of the toy. At first I thought the version shown in the photo had eyebrows but after looking at it more closely I think it is just a ribbon that might have once come tied around the neck. Mine did not have this and judging from customer photos their toys did not have this either.I am uploading some of my own customer photos along with this review:1. The toy laid on top of a ruler and measuring tape and as indicated in the listing it is 9" from the nose of the alligator to its tail and also 9" across with the legs fully extended.2. The tag indicates this is polyester fiber fill with a plastic squeaker and that it is "Made in China".3. In my final photo you can see that the toy is in tact after a week of play with only dried drool-stiffened fur on the toy to show it is any worse for the wear.The packaging indicates, "Cozies are perfect for a game of fetch or as a comfort toy for your furry friend" but also that this is not a chew toy. If you go to YouTube and check out the KONGvideos channel you can see their product video called "KONG Cozie". In this video the dogs are chewing on this toy, shaking it, etc. I guess those dog actors were working off an instinctual script and not the one printed on the package. I get they print this disclaimer because (as shown in some of the review customer photos) a lot of dogs can destroy a plush toy like this fairly easily. I don't expect this to last forever, maybe a month or two, but in terms of joy it brings to my dog it is a great investment and well worth the price I paid.As of May 2016 this toy only costs $4.27 here on Amazon (I paid $9.99 elsewhere) and I have no qualms in recommending it to others. Great value.

My corgis love this toy. So far after couple of weeks of hard play it is good as new. I will buy more.

I have bought 6 KONG Cozie's and the quality seems to differ from each one. A little background information: We have two Dobermans. One loves to play with toys, he carries them around like a baby and brings one to bed every night. The other is rough on his toys and like to remove stuffing.1. The pink elephant has stood the test of time. It's been about 3 months and Mr. pink elephant is still intact. He is usually the favorite to be taken to bedtime. The squeaker still works!2. The moose is still going strong too, but for whatever reason isn't loved as much as the elephant.3. The rabbit died rather quickly. Probably about 2 weeks before shreds of bunny ears were found scattered around the house.4. The alligator didn't even make it a couple hours before being decapitated.5. The Rhino is now split in two pieces, but Rocky still loves to carry around the halves. He dug in the trash to get them back when I tried to throw it away.6. Lion- Hasn't been given to the dogs yet, we are moving and separating the dogs, this will be a gift to the one dog as an apology as his brother slowly destroys all his beloved toys.

Moosie, as this toy is called in our household, has become THE favorite toy for Rambo ( our dog). We bought him for Christmas, yeah, I couldn't wait to see how he liked it or not. Rambo is about 5 years old and loves balls. large or small, he loves them. Squeaky toys, not so much. Still, Moosie was so cute, I had to get him. He LOVES his Moosie. I've seen him sleep with it, toss it all over, which is a new thing for him, and insists on taking him outside. It's not going to happen yet though. Still, he always try's to get outside with him.Now, holding up.. that is a whole different story. Based on how much surgery I've had to do to Moosie, you would think I wouldn't give a 5 star rating. When I bought him, I didn't and still don't expect a long life for Moosie. So far, he has lost both ears ( Antlers are fine), a tail and we had to do a leg amputation. One other leg suffered a stuffing loss tonight. We'll see how long till we have a 2 legged lopsided moose here. Two more weeks until Christmas. Will he make it? I doubt it. Still, Elephanty will be under the tree and I have a feeling, I'll be getting Moosie2 soon as well.So, why 5 stars? because RAMBO LOVES MOOSIE and it's so worth it.******UPDATE *****3-29-2015 Well, Moosie managed to be taken outside and was enjoyed out there for quite awhile until the snow hit. He hasn't been seen since. Fortunately, Blue, and Elephanty ( as we call them) are surviving inside the house quite happily. In fact, we are waiting on our newest arrival, Floppy, who will be a fun addition to his family. Rambo has enjoyed all of them for 4 months now and they are his #2 favorite toys. Balls are number 1 and always will be with him. Still, It's fun to put the Kong toys up and see him go get one, toss it around, cuddle with it ect. I still give these a 5 star rating because Rambo Loves Them.******UPDATE 2-11-17*******We lost our Rambo at Christmas. WE rescued a new dog a few weeks ago. Moosie is #1 with him as well. My daughter even has a Moosie for her beagle. This has to be my fave stuffed Kong toy of all

Resiste un uso “normal”. No es frágil. El diseño es muy bonito y funciona bien como juguete pero también funciona para quitar el estrés, si resiste las mordidas.

Smaller than expected and did come with a pen mark on the face.My dog is a chewer and within a day had a the ears and hair bitten off, next came a back leg.Monkey is still holding strong with 3 legs! Hahah been a few weeks now and my dog loves his “baby”.Would deff recommend this product. It is durable - it’s just my dog is a chewer!
