Just beware that the lid can be figured out rather easily and the tip off the pens can get ruined if not monitored carefully. My toddler really enjoys these and it's convenient to have the extra books and pens!

These were something new and unusual to me and so I bought them for a friend’s 3-year old twins - a boy & a girl. I had to explain how the “magic” worked with just water and they couldn’t wait to try it out. Don’t know if the tots have painted with it yet as they received so many other toys from grandparents, aunties & uncles, Santa, etc. But when mom calls for quiet time activities, the magic water paints will be one of the toys they will be playing with.

We got these for our kids during church. We fill the pens up at church, not sure if they'd leak during transport, but the kids love them and it kept their attention.
