Amazon lists this part a direct fit for a 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer. It does not fit! The 2009 model has a completely different cabin air system under the dash relative to the earlier models. This part probably fits perfectly on model years 2002 through 2006, and possibly 2007. I have owned earlier models and am familiar with them and, also, if one views the plethora of "you tube" videos online.... they are all demonstrated on those earlier models. While the peripheral dimensions of this part may be correct, it is encased in a hard plastic shell that is easily 3/8" thicker than the slot through which it has to pass to install it, and I don't believe it would even fit if I could get it through the opening without first running it through a food processer!Be advised.... I give it a single star not because of build quality, but because it's being sold to fit a vehicle it clearly does not! As I write, my Amazon account states " this fits your 2009 Trailblazer".

It works and fits correctly I just wished it was marked as to which side goes up. Make sure to pay attention to the orientation when removing the old one.
