Bought one bulb originally for our child's bedroom. It's held up very nicely for over a year. Have decided now that it's starting to get dimmer, to get more for the rest of the house. The lounge and bedrooms, plus hallways.

I find it difficult paying so much for a pair of light-bulbs, but we'll see how long they last. Very well packaged.

I was pleased to try these 'Silver Crown Mirror Lights Bulb 6W Equivalent 60W Half Chrome Lights Bulb Dimmable B22 LED Edison Bulb G80/G25 Globe Shape Decorative LED Bulb Half Reflected Light 2700K Soft White Pack of 2 by Kooywan'. They are for my downstairs and upstairs hallways where I have see through shades. These lights will be much better looking than the current old fashioned 3 loop energy saver bulbs.They are chunky, bayonet fitting, globe bulbs at 6.3cm, across the widest part, with a lovely shiny silver crown section on the base of the bulb. This forces the nice warm white colour light upwards and saves loads of shadows from the shade showing on the walls, carpets etc, that you get with all clear bulbs. They only use 6 watts but give the equivalent light of a 60 watt bulb. They give the same light as my 11 watt energy saver bulbs, so my energy bills will be happy too. Apparently you can use them with a LED suitable dimmer switch but I haven't got such.I love the modern look of these bulbs - they are certainly a step up on the design front and low wattage too. The price of £23.99 is okay in my opinion, as they should last for years with the suggested lifetime of 20000 hours.

The first two bulbs lasted exactly six months. Is that classed as good value and eco? Not sure....

Don’t forget you only get half the light! Either top half or bottom half depending which way you hang them so one half won’t be lit up! Think about where you’re going to put them and what sort of ambience you want to achieve. Personally for me they aren’t ideal for the main bedroom light as you only get the ceiling lit up and the rest of the room is in the dark as in my photo, which as a chandelier is ideal to see the light. In a free standing lamp you get the bottom half of the room lit up and the top is dark which is ideal for a freestanding side light. I’ve photographed that too so you can see the difference. These would look good for wall lights where you only want a soft warm ambience. These strength bulbs aren’t very bright and too dark for a main light where you want to see properly. It’s a very soft warm light that isn’t very bright. They would also be suitable for wall lights above the bed as they won’t light up the whole room. They are beautiful looking bulbs and can be used alone without a shade. In the right setting these are very clever and will give you a specific light experience that you can’t get with “normal” bulbs. I hope that’s helped ☺️

The media could not be loaded. Initially it was great but just after 1 month in it is flickering and unusable. Installed a dimmer switch initially then removed the dimmer as I thought that was the problem. Clearly the product itself is the problem. Waste of money.

These are a pair of B22 UK bayonet bulbs, with spherical bulbs. The lower hemisphere is silvered to reflect all light, usually used to stop it getting in peoples eyes. designed for wall and ceiling lighting.The build quality is good, perfectly smooth bulbs and connectors and uniform silvering.These run on 6W and give about 600lm, about the same as an old 60W bulb. Most of that is reflected upwards, of course.They run at 2700K colour temp, which is warm white, my preferred colour.Apart from the silvering they are standard globe bulbs, with no added features other than being dimmable.For the price of about £25 they are decent specialist bulbs and do the job well.

Silver Crown Mirror LightsBulb 6W Equivalent 60W Half Chrome Lights Bulb Dimmable B22 LED Edison Bulb G80/G25 Globe Shape Decorative LED Bulb Half Reflected Light 2700K Soft White Pack of 2 by Kooywan.These are not what I expected and I put them in the main ceiling light but didn't give off much light so I then tried 1 in the table lamp which was so much better, this is because the light goes up so deffinatly more suitable for lamps rather than a ceiling light!They are a lot bigger than expected with half of the bulb with a mirror on it, that's why the light goes up.They came well packaged in polystyrene and in their own box to avoid breakages.These are quite expensive for 2 bulbs and I wouldn't buy again due to this.

Vu qu'on ne trouve plus ce type d'ampoule , installées sur un lustre italien chromé design 1970 , j'ai acheté celle là. Je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles car la température d couleur est un peu trop blanche quand on les utilise avec un dimmer.

Die Spiegelkopfbirnen sehen super in meiner Vintage-Deckenleuchte aus den frühen 70ern aus und sind einwandfrei hier eingetroffen. Ich würde sie erneut kaufen.Die Verpackung ist sehr sicher für einen langen Transport, wirkt aber wegen des hohen Kunststoffanteils nicht mehr zeitgemäß.Dimmbarkeit noch nicht getestet, da die Leuchte nicht über einen Dimmer betrieben wird.

Die LED-Glühbirnen beginnen innerhalb von wenigen Tagen an zu flackern. Das Flackern wird immer schlimmer und wir mussten bereits zwei austauschen. Mittlerweile flackert die nächste. Ärgerlich, dass die Lebenszeit so kurz ist bei einem Produkt, dass vor allem auch nicht günstig ist.

Franchement, ils sont très beau, plus grande que des ampoules normal. Donne aspect chaud, mais pas trop jaune, juste parfait. Ils marche avec une ancienne dimmer qui est installer depuis 13 ans, donc avant des LED sont arrivé.

Sehr rasch geliefert. Verpackung sehr gut und hochwertig. Licht sehr angenehm und hell. Funktionieren gut mit Dimmer.
