Loving The Baxter family. I discovered them & Karen Kingsbury in 2016 and want her to keep writing about this family. I travel a lot and the audio books have saved me! I love Sandra Burr as a reader and have listened to her read several secular books so when finding her here was over the moon happy!I love how this series helps you realize how important learning scripture is without preaching down to you. It makes you WANT to seek HIM more. The stories are never cookie cutter. It was funny because I'm a writer & I thought I'd figured out her formula & the ending to the last book prior to this one. I was almost disappointed that I was so sure how it was going to end. And was so wrong. That's why I love this author! Her stories are just like real life. Not predictable or contrived. And not always a happy ending. But makes you really realize that God truly is in everything. Not just the good things that happen but God is in all things with unexpected blessings.

This is the first series of the Baxter family I have ever read, and I have to say that it was wholly and completely perfect. And now I have a new favorite author. I'm hooked.

I truly enjoy all of Karen Kingsbury books. She uses everyday lives to express Christian commitment to GOD, in the best realistic stories. They captivate your heart and minister to your soul. Sometimes as if you are reading your own life story among the pages. She is an anointed writer and I would recommend any of her books to be read.

The Baxter family saga concludes with this fourth book of the Sunrise Series although the author promises to use them as background characters in future novels. This is a stand-alone novel, but if the reader has kept up through the Redemption Series and then the Firstborn Series, this book brings back all of the characters and ties up all loose ends in a satisfying conclusion. There's a good bit of repeating, but perhaps this comes with the fourteenth book in a series.Kingsbury has a way of telling a good story while allowing her readers to know the people who live in her books. Though varied personalities, they all are believable. Children's voices are especially well written such that I can see his head nod as he explains about dinosaurs or hear her plaintive wail when she wants her pacifier.Warning: read it with tissues close at hand. Any Kingsbury fan will love this one. Discussion questions are included.

I miss the Baxter's! The whole series of Karen Kingsbury is delightful to read. Karen is very expressive and weaves a whole family history into her series. While you are reading, and after you finish reading each book, you will still be living the experience. What a great teller of tales! And, to be able to read, and be able to envision feelings and relationships without having the 'activity' dumped in your lap is a real pleasure. Karen's books are touched with realities of God and life. I would highly recommend any of her books!

Another wonderful book by Karen. If you haven't read all the series it is a must. You can't just read one. It is best to read them in order as well.

Getting through the series of the Baxter family was not a hardship at all, it many times made me laugh, many times made me cry. Finding dilemma's along the way, when family members aren't so well knitted together and things go wrong.The father who lost his wife and pines for her, the letters found by his daughter. I found it altogether one remarkable read. Loved it. I love the Baxters.

Another brilliant Karen Kingsbury book. A great Christmas gift for a friend or loved one. Don't miss it, fab book

I like her books, I am in the middle of reading it

Having read all the Baxter books I was keen to read this last one. It did not disappoint and was just as thrilling as the rest. Highly recommended,enjoyable read on it's own, but best read as set, then they make great sense.
