Best quality sound absorption panels on Amazon
These are hands down the best sound absorption panels on Amazon. I moved into a really noisy, old pre 1950 apartment. I normally wouldn’t care, but suddenly my job wants me to work from home.I can hear my neighbors talking below me and to the right of me. I don’t want them to hear me talking to customers over the phone! So I spent many hours and sleepless nights researching soundproofing. Now I’m an expert.Sound travels through the air in all directions. Think of it like smoke. Smoke will go in all direction looking for a way out of your room (or into your room). Smoke will bounce off your walls and ceilings and funnel it’s way out of the cracks in your doors and windows.Same concept with sound. Sound absorption panels have little pores in them, so that the sound doesn’t bounce but gets absorbed. So you can scatter them if you want, or you can put the panels right next to each other for maximum effect.I bought almost every brand of sound panels available on Amazon, because I was in a hurry to get my room soundproofed before I had to start work from home. I was just looking for the best deals, whatever was on sale.I can tell you this: The cheap panels, are worthless. Might as well just tape bath towels on your wall. Dekiru is an upgrade from the cheap panels. I was buying massive amounts of dekiru while they were on sale. But honestly dekiru is just a small upgrade from the cheap panels. Especially when compared to Bubos.Bubos is the Rolls Royce of sound absorption panels. They are thicker, more dense, better finish, brighter colors, deeper bevel than dekiru. Density is important when it comes to sound absorption. It determines how much sound it can actually absorb. The other qualities I mentioned, means that the bubos panels simply look better when installed on your walls.Using the orange, white, and purple panels, I was able to make a LA Lakers themed wall. I’m sure with their color choices you could do the same for your team of choice.I know these work, because I would put up several tiles a night and each night things got quieter. I could hear my tv more clearly. I can no longer hear the neighbors. The biggest culprit will be your windows and doors (for sound coming in). I weatherproof sealed both, and I put bubos panels on my doors.I use the 3M mounting tape (buy the rolls it is better value than the precut squares), and put 5 squares on the back of the panel. 4 corners and 1 in the middle. The dekiru panels... you literally have to place panel and press down with all your strength for 30 seconds for it to stick. If you dont press the middle down, the middle wants to “pop” back out and unstick itself. It’s characteristic of cheap quality (although dekiru is better than the cheap ones... the cheap ones are not even worth it). However the bubos panels, just align where you want, and place it and it sticks. I push for like 5 seconds just in case. That’s because the bubos panels are good quality. It feels like thick wooden tiles, but made from the fabric sound absorbing material, super dense. But they feel like wooden tiles, but can also bend if your wall is lumpy like mine. All the other panels feel like hairy, cheap, cardboard, that don’t want to stick to your walls. They start to unstick and fall off, and you have to redo the tape, and press with all your might for beyond 30 seconds and hope that it sticks. The Bubos panels adhesion is so strong, with the same amount of tape. I know this because when I needed to rearrange some panels when I try to take off it has a nice grip and takes some force to take off. This is after just 5 seconds of holding firm.Oh and dekiru just has boring gray/white/black themed colors. The main reason I stumbled upon bubos because I wanted some vibrant colors. Glad I tried them. 100% would recommend. You won’t be disappointed. And their customer service is amazing too.

Difficult to stay attached, but are stylish and reduce noise.
They look nice, not tacky. They reduce noise significantly. My neighbors are so loud that ANY reduction in noise is a blessing. It is difficult to make them stay attached to certain surfaces and you may find yourself reattaching them to the wall or door more than once—depending on the surface, type of attachment, and how much attachment you purchase and utilize. It’s not my door so I’m not going to use hardware to attach the panels. Thus I’m using a lot of double-sided tape. If you own the door or wall, you may fare better than I if you can use hardware. I imagine very skinny nails, not big ugly nails 🔨 because the panels are very light in weight. Or, double-sided tape should work for you if the surface you are attacking to is not so smooth. I’m attaching to a smooth metal door so you can imagine my dilemma. If it was my metal door I would consider a spray can of tacky adhesive.

Nice !!!
Pretty neat! Helping with the sound in my studio for sure. Sound canceling is very situational based on many variables so it’s not fair to judge it on this entirely since it’s very subjective. The print is nice and they hang easy with some command strips. This doesn’t come with any hardware to hang so you will have to get it yourselfThe only thing I wish was that it didn’t say ‘World Map’ on it. I missed this before purchasing…I can’t blame them, it was my fault. I’m not a fan of obvious branding. Like yeah it’s the world we don’t need a giant label telling us this. But that’s me so I can knock the product for this lol.Great work probably will buy more when I find a design I like

😬 You NEED 6 packs to make a difference 😬
I wanted to see how good these panels would soundproof so I tried them. I placed all 12 panels (from 2 packs) on a wall that was connected to the hallway to block out noise (IE: door opening and closing). This wall was the only wall that leads to a noisy area so I figured this was the best wall to test these panels on. Unfortunately, the sound seemed the exact same with all 12 panels (which covered 70% of the wall) so I removed them.Although they did look nice aesthetically, I was advised (by the seller), " At least 50% of the sound absorbing panels need to be placed... It takes 6 sets to have obvious sound insulation." I felt this was too expensive at $45 for 6 and needed to purchase SIX PACKS to make a difference, which is $270. I returned to look for a cheaper option on a better deal for more panels. I'm giving this a 3-stars to be fair since I would reorder if the price was cheaper and at a larger quantity. The panels seem of good quality but I can not confirm it's the effectiveness with only 12 panels/2 packs. I hope this helps :)

Helps immensely
We have a dueling TV issue in our vacation home - yes it's a manufactured home with the Master BR TV on the other side of the wall as the Guest Room TV...no insulation and about 1.5 inches of dead air space in the wall that is only made of flimsy panelling. Needless to say, it was like being in the same room with 2 TVs and whatever other noises were present. So we did one wall with these panels. The result was truly impressive elimination of sound exchange between the 2 rooms. Not 100% sound elimination BUT although you can tell the TV is on in the other room, you can no longer hear every word clearly and distinctly. I'm very satisfied.

This is useless!
This is useless and does not work effectively without covering the entire wall with this cheap material. returning - not what i would have expected.

Quality
I paired these with hexagonal acoustic panels to dampen the sound traveling through the wall to a staircase on the other side. I used adhesive spray from home depot, it worked perfectly. The image lines up nicely along each panel edge and the dimensions were precise. Would recommend! Paired with the other paneling, conversations can't be heard, and a vacuum sounds like a dull whirr.

Good product/ bad adhesive
Good product, good size, good thickness, but the adhesive is bad and not enough. You need to add more adhesive for the panel to stick.

Poor Quality/6 in a pack.
Not worth the money at all. Take a look elsewhere as the quality and sound absorption on these are not great.

Absorbe très bien le son pour une épaisseure minimale.
Belle apparence aussi pour un prix raisonnable... Utilisé pour rendre ma porte plus "isolante" aux sons. Fonctionne très bien pour cette application.

Best soundproof panels on amazon, use command STRIPS, not tape
Purchased 16 packs of these after testing 2 packs. The other reviews complaining about them not sticking is because they are using 3M tape. I used 3m command strips. Works perfectly. 1 pair is enough to hold it, but I use 2 pairs. If you are looking for cheap soundproof options this product is your best bet. Don’t expect it to block out all the noise. It reduces around 10db. At least I don’t hear my neighbour’s kids yelling. You can compare the density of the product. These are great PANELS not those thick ugly foams. Love it.
