My green cheeked conure like it and his nail grow so fast every 3 month have to take vet and they charge us for easy check up automatically comes with it that’s 40$ and nail trim 7$ .Even I have nation wide avian insurance they only cover once a year for full exam up to 180$. usually back to me 77$ for one exam .Other easy check up and nail cut wasn’t back to me nothing or 30$ .(2019 update Vet price up a lot this year i going same vet 6 years .127$ for culture and nail trim at my vet check up price up now and nail cut is easy exam includes 80$ since i got this perch i took my bird only twice a year instead of 4 time a year ! no problem using this and still good shape. My cockatiels and parakeet likes too now.)My bird never like vet so I bought sand flat perch for try .It was good choice for took off very sharp tip off . But my bird scard blight orange . yellow was not too bad .I got random color. took my bird couple weeks to get used to it .His nail tips are start not sharp and not stuck our clothes ,I feel safe and order two more . And save money for extra nail cut cost at vet . My birds happy to hear don’t have to go vet often too lol.

Finally, a place for my feathered friends to lay, play and relax! I love to add a little toy for their entertainment. Great customer service. Quick reply to any questions/concerns. I can tell these products are made with care and love. You won't regret buying at least one of these!!!

Buyer Beware:Its a gamble what quality you'll get, and don't be surprised if there's rust. Just return or replace rusted products instead of using them, since you don't know what caused such damage in the first place.The Story:When I purchased this perch (horizontal version), I just clicked the basic "add to cart" option. My issue may have been seller based, but as the default purchase option, I'm considering it a product defect.I ordered one of these perches, and it arrived with the washer/bolts covered in rust, water spots, scratches, and just overall clearly damaged and in no way pet safe. I returned the first perch, and had it replaced with a 2nd - maybe it was a fluke. The 2nd perch arrived, and it had the exact same damage - metal parts covered in rust and damage, but still bought and treated like "new."I ended up purchasing the same product, on a different listing from a different default seller - I didn't have this rust problem with that perch, but saw a review of someone that had. It made me think that these were probably mass produced overseas, and bought in bulk by various Amazon seller accounts, so its up in the air whether you'll get a rusted out perch or a "nice" one.Regardless, it made me completely mistrust this product, and all perches have been returned. This would be great if I could trust it wasn't rusted out or chemically mistreated, considering its for my long-lived pet.Just be smart and wary when buying this perch.

Can’t even begin to be more happy about this product. I didn’t even know they made these. It’s good for my parakeets because they now have the ability to stretch their feet out instead of just being on perches all day. I find them sitting on here 80% of the time and they took to it SO QUICKLY!! Love this and I plan to buy more! This adds variety of exercise for any birds’ feet; it’s essential !!!! I wish they sold these in pet stores.

I am very disappointed to say the least.This perch is not new.It seems this was stored in a wet areaThe screws etc are full of rust and even the perch looks like something rusty was sitting on top of it .The smell of this perch is horrible !I will not put this into my birds cage .I do not recommend this perch

After 40 years of having birds I will never recommend this product. Received it today. They cut corners by not including 4 washers rather than the 2 included. ALL metal hardware was rusted and corroded which renders it unsafe for birds to chew on. All metal hardware should be stainless steel which this is not. The flat perch also has a foul unsafe odor to it. I would NEVER suggest buying this. This will hit the trash, will not risk my birds safety. I now know to delete other products from my wish list by this seller.

Nice perch that is also an emory board for nails and beaks. I received mine in a very nice Orange color and packaging was great. Now, I'm waiting for my 2 tiels to warm up to it and stop staring at it. One of them did rest one foot on it while holding on to the cage bars with the other foot. My cockatiels are explorers first, so watching them try it out will be fun. Also, I had no issue with attaching this perch to their cage. The last perch i purchased from the pet store was either poorly made or crafted with a small start up cage with thin bars in mind. My cage is huge with bar spacing being the exact for a cockatiel or conure. So, thank you to the seller for such a well made product and having an idea with birds in mind. I will update on the beak and nail filing.

It took a while but my boy Oscar decided to venture over, I put this perch under one of his very favorite toys, and eventually he made it over . He is very curious and I am gone for most of my day from early morning so it's important to have him stay busy and it makes me happy when I see he is happy!Thank you for offering different things to occupy him. I will buy again when needed.
