I was so excited about this planner. I love Star Wars and the price was good, but now that I have received it I am a little disappointed.I'll start with the good points:Star Wars!Price - Very reasonable.The grade book section - I always keep a hard copy of grades, both to double check myself and in case we have technical difficulties. There are more than enough sheets to keep my grades for the year for middle school.Planning pages - more than enough for the whole school year.The paper has good thickness, and it seems to be well made.Now, the bad:You have to write in your own dates (which I knew going in and don't really mind, but I know plenty of people who do mind that).There are NO monthly calendars. I like being able to see the entire month in one glance, so I know what is coming up without having to flip through the book. This is seriously a deal breaker for me. I am either going to have to try to insert monthly pages or find a new planner.My suggestion to the manufacturer - lose the seating charts (most people I know don't keep their students in straight rows) to make room for blank monthly calendars.

Just the right size, even for 7 lessons in one school day. I do not use all of the sections but this is the best style I have found for high school. I color codeed the left side of the page to keep track of classes.

These days we put all of our lesson plans online. The only problem is sometimes I am not where my laptop is or just don't have the right set up to work on lesson plans when the inspiration hits. I use this as a rough draft or a planning sheet. I will outline my week with lessons I plan to teach and add to-do notes of any attachments I need to add to my online plans and any copies I would need to make for each lesson. It also gives me a way to map out my day to make sure I stay on time or remember any special events for the day. It is an easy way for me to keep the many dates that come up in a school setting. Sure I can keep these on my phone, but why do I want to clog up my phone with dates and times that are for school? I like to keep those for just personal use. I also use this to keep some of my grades in before they go online. Sure we keep those online too. I call it my one-page wonder. But, some of these assessment grades are entered in more than one place in our school database. I found it easier to write these down, so anytime I need to access them, it is a flip to a tabbed page instead of signing on to my computer. I can get to the info quicker. It has served me well. While others are waiting to sign in, I already have the data I need. Sometimes I print it out and tape it in my book. Either way, it is easy to access. So, if you are a teacher, I highly recommend using this as your planner and a place to keep the information you need access to.

I bought this for school and I love it! My favorite part is being able to plan my day vertically. Most lesson plan books are setup for horizontal planning so I was very happy to find one that works the same way as my brain.

The media could not be loaded.  I had a hard time finding the right book to track everything I need for homeschooling. As I was searching I wanted to see what was inside each book to see if it would work for how I track my sons classes, grades, days, activities etc. I really didn’t find many books with pictures so this is why I added a video. I like this lesson plan book. I tweaked certain pages in it for tracking days etc. Luckily this book made it easy to do that. It’s well made and should last through the year. I will look for this book for next year. I hope my video will help others in their search.

Just as described. Even though it has a thick paper cover, this planner/grade book held up really well. I highly recommend this product. I have attached a few pictures of the inside pages as well.

This planner is ok, but could definitely be better. I was really disappointed that the thin cover was torn upon arrival. The pages inside are laid out nicely...however...there are basically 3 sets of pages... planning the week, seating chart, and grading pages. There were EXCESS amounts of seating chart pages. You could have re-arranged the seating chart weekly all year and still had room. What a waste. There is an opportunity for so much more functional pages and they aren't there. I do like the spiral binding to be able to fold it back and write. I probably would look for something else next time.
