I haven’t had these on for long and I didn’t install them myself. My Jeep was having the frame replaced after being rear ended. While the shop had it completely apart I had them install these on my 2017 wrangler that has a teraflex leveling kit. Prior to having these installed the dealer told me my front shocks were leaking. Around the same time my wife told me some disheartening news. Our 15 year old daughter seemingly preferred driving our minivan over my Jeep. I was certain new shocks must be the answer. In the end I’m not sure the ride got much better, but I do think it rides nice with these shocks installed. I’m also happy with the look of the shocks. As of now I get these five stars as they seem like a good deal for the price.

Satisfied
I installed these on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited. The installation process was pretty straight forward. I was able to install the shocks without jacking the vehicle in about 3 hours (1 hour for rear / 2 hours for front). The only installation challenge was the front passenger shock. The area where the top shaft is bolted is very tight on the 2015 Jeep. It makes very difficult to install the over sized rubber bushing, washer and nut. I had to cut away some the plastic to complete the installation. Since the installation, I have driven on both highway and forest roads. I can say the shocks provided a more grounded ride and have improved the nose dive when breaking since installing the winch and larger all terrain tires. I am satisfied with the initial performance.

Fit my 12 JK 2dr Rubi w/3.5” RC lift
Arrived on time, great price. Replaced Rough Country shocks that came with 3.5” lift, that had 80k mls on them. Still a soft ride, but much less dive when breaking or squatting when taking off now. Can tell now that the other shocks were more worn out than I thought, maybe a little dangerous even. If I get as many miles out of these I will buy them again. So far so good.

Good replacement for Rubicon shocks.
These replaced a set of red Rubicon shocks on my JKUR. The OEMs has 56k miles on them. The Ranchos went on in about 1.5hours. The install was very easy, with the passenger side front being the biggest hassle.The ride is much improved. Better on highway, better over bumps, better in the forest. Well worth $200.

Decent Shocks
These are nice lower end shocks, decent ride at a decent price.
