Like many others mentioned:1) you cannot open the laptop all the way to tablet mode while the case is on. You would have to take the case off to make it fully flat. IF you removed just one side, it gets closer to flat, but is definitely still not full "transformed" into flat tablet mode. IF, you plan on doing a lot of changing, I wouldn't recommend this case, and I doubt there are any hard cases out there that could fulfill this.2) this case DEFINITELY fits the Samsung Chromebook Pro(https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071LB1GG4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)I am using the laptop purchased at this link above. Love it.Beyond these two points, I just want to say that I really love this case. It's sturdy, simple, and clean (as far as lines/design). The color options are fun (I've seen the aqua and the green. Both are vibrant colors!). In the end I went with the green, and it looks great on the black Pro.Suggestions: it seem the different color options take turn being Prime eligible/additional shipping required. If you are set on one color and it is not Prime elegible at the time, give it a minute. It just might change!Noteworthy things:1) the case is a little frosted, as far as transparency2) the bottom of the case has 4 "feet" (same as the actual laptop) but only the two from feet have rubber pads. Slipping has not been an issue for me

My 11 yr old daughter wanted something to protect her Samsung Chrome Book from getting scratched as she takes it to school.The case is flexible hard plastic that fits really well and easily snaps onto the top and bottom of the computer. Perfect for keeping the laptop from being scratched. Probably not much protection from damage if the laptop is dropped.The aqua color is nice and semi transparent so we you can see the silver color of the laptop slightly through the cover. Looks good and I am sure my daughter will like it.

This case is AMAZING! I do not treat my technology well and this has held up and kept my laptop safe through lots of trauma. It’s very durable while still being very thin and lightweight. Putting it on and taking it off is SO simple, it snaps right on and off! No need to toggle with it or anything. You cannot flip the laptop into tablet form when both halves of the cases are on, but that’s not an issue for me. If it is for you, just take off one of the covers! Super easy.

This is a good case cover, only issues is that the cover does't allow the computer lay flat back - the edge bumpers stop if. Get about 90% flat. There are openings for the front 2 non-slip pads in front to keep computer from slipping. The back 2 pads are covered over and the back side can slip around. I don't know if it's supposed to be this way or mine is defective. It still fits well and seems like a good additional protection. Hopefully I won't drop test it to find out.

Only reason I’m giving it a one star reviews is because the Dimensions given were not accurate for my computer. I was super bummed out that I had return. I have order another one for my Chromebook. But a side note for anyone with a google Chromebook model number xe521qab NOT THE PLUS is not 12 inch computer it is actually 11.6 inches. Most cases here on amazon with that model number are sized wrong. I recommend you measure your computer first before purchasing to eliminate you having to return it in the end. The aqua was a nice color and the case looked very durable otherwise.

I bought a Samsung Chromebook Plus with a 12.3" screen to be used primarily as a tablet with Mobil Sheets Pro for on stage song charts I make in pdf format. I wanted to cover up the keyboard which is exposed when the Chromebook is flipped over as a tablet. This cover does a nice job. Fit perfectly. I only use one of the two parts. If you use both parts and try to flip the book into a tablet form, the covers are slightly in the way from having it lay flat as a tablet. However, I only need to use one of the covers to hide the exposed keyboard in tablet format and this worked perfectly for that.

I bought this for my laptop to protect it in case of dropping and dirt. So far haven't dropped it so I am hoping I will never find out if its durable in that sense or not. So far its staying on, fits perfectly. The only thing I had wished I knew about is you cannot fully bend the cover backward for tablet mode but that doesn't bother me too much. You can still prop it up for movies ect...

Too bad there isn't an option of buying just the bottom piece at a reduced rate. (The option of covering up the keyboard was the most attractive feature of this case to me.)I plan on traveling with the Pro 2, so I'm still deciding whether or not I should keep the case. It would be good for scuffs and scratches, but not much else. Taking both covers on and off seems like a hassle. It might even increase the probability of dropping the book. If you're primarily using the Pro 2 in laptop mode, than removing the cover is not an issue.I bought the clear one because I thought it would actually be transparent, not translucent. I wanted something that isn't frosted.Also, as others have pointed out, only two of the pads are non-slip. It's annoying if you're used to all 4 pads being non-slip. I use the book in all sorts of surfaces, and sometimes I only have 3 points of contact so it's important that all 4 pads are non-slip for the most security.
