Picked this duvet for our 8 year old daughter's boho & panda themed room. Hard to tell online but the black side actually has a dark charcoal gray pattern in the background. This pleased me because it isn't just solid black. The material is soft but very thin. I'm not sure how it will hold up in the wash.The pattern is part of the fabric not painted on top if that makes sense. Some Fabrics feel crunchy because the design is silk screened on top- this does not. It is soft and flexible.I looked all over online for a black and white set that wasn't striped or polka dot and this fit the bill but for the price I had hoped it would be thicker fabric. It does come with two shams even though we bought the twin size. It fit our existing twin duvet well and has ties in the corners to secure it.Love the zipper feature!!! Buttons on duvets always seem to come loose or fall off. This is secure and fully closed which is perfect for a kid's bed.The shams however have an envelope closure meaning a flap that holds the pillow in on the end instead of being open ended like a traditional pillow case. It doesn't stay closed though. Maybe I need thicker pillows? At least it isn't in the middle of the pillow so you can actually turn it to the white side if you want.Would've liked to have seen the arrows as part of the design on the dark side too.All in all a decent purchase. Would rate it higher if it had been less expensive but I worked with what I had available. See my photos for close ups.

We purchased this product and it arrived yesterday. I put it on my duvet without washing it because my grandsonson was excited about receiving it. He snuggled under it on and off all day and at night I noticed that a seam came undone and threads came off. We were of course disappointed since my grandson fell in love with the nautical a pattern. If it wasn't going to hold up the first day it was going back.Update- I had written a review stating i was sending it back because the a seam was coming undone. I haven't been able to return it even though Amazon immediately went me a return label. The reason why we are keeping it is because my grandson has autism and he loves it and does not want to part with it. I have to agree with him that it's a lovely light blue and the pattern isn't busy- it just adds the right amount of nautical accent. The material is a cotton sheet and the seams don't stay flat. They bunch up and it's very wrinkled. I have inspected the seams and found that it is holding together they but a closer second seam came undone. But it is still keeping together. We've looked at many duvets and though this wrinkles and doesn't feel like it's strong enough to hold up long it is a very soothing and appealing pattern that we can't part with it. Another plus is that is does have a pattern on the other side instead of being just white. We also just purchased an Ambesonne duvet for my other grandson at a greater cost than this one and we were surprised that this product was the better value. The magazine has no ties inside to hold the duvet to the cover. It also also isn't as soft as this Otb duvet cover.

The quality of the duvet cover and pillowcases is very good for the price point. Washed up nicely and will be a good addition to the linens for our summer cabin

I’ve bought three duvet comforters in the past. This is by far my favorite one.

Absolutely LOVE! Because it is a full/queen our full insert didn’t fit but it was no big deal for us as we had a full and queen laying around. I would have been upset if I had purchased a full-sized insert so just be aware you’ll want a queen sized blanket for your insert.Well made, comfortable, super soft and 100% worth it! Would definitely purchase again.

I'm a very critical customer and to be honest, some reviews of this product scared me. But I decided to get it a try. The quality looks good. Not great, but strongly good. It fits well, it's quite comfortable and I believe it's suitable to be used for kids' beds. After the first washing the color remained the same, no threads went out, all zippers remained in their place. So far so good. Let's see how long will it work for us (usually Turkish cotton sets we used for kids before survived up to 7 years).
