Q: How do you take off the adhesive pads? The photos show it being removed from the wall with no damage. It is stuck to the wall with strong adhesive.

I watched the posted video but the floss kept snapping. It did help to create an initial break in the adhesive. I ended up using a metal bench scraper (a kitchen pastry tool) and a blowdryer to do it without damaging the wall.

Q: Do you have to have the base touch the floor? bc we have trim there

We had a problem with the base of the product not sitting on the floor/carpet because of the base board. We solved this by purchasing from Amazon IRENPORU Adjustable Bed Risers https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Risers-Furniture-Riser-Plastic/dp/B0B5KBJWGJ/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3QAQR497RSE9F&keywords=Irenporu+adjustable+bed+risers&qid=1681774579&sprefix=irenporu+adjustable+bed+risers%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-6 to bridge the gap from the base of the product and the floor/carpet. It worked great. I posted a picture (can’t find how to post picture here) in my review if interested.
