Practically perfect in every way (apologies to Mary Poppins)
Pan arrived exactly as promised. Bought two of these, a 9.5" and a 13" at the same time. We've used them for a few days, and here is what I think: First, they are well-made. You can just see the attention to detail in the construction and the materials used seem to me to be first-rate. Second, they spread the stove heat very evenly. The base of the pans fit our burners exactly, and they reach cooking temperature in a very efficient way. Third, the cooking experience is excellent. We've cooked basted eggs, hamburgers, knackwurst with sauerkraut, fried chicken and hash browns. The pans performed flawlessly. Afterwards, the clean-up was very simple and easy. We followed the directions and there were no problems at all. All-in-all these are excellent pans for any kitchen, and well worth the price. We have not had them long enough to judge the lasting power of the ceramic coating, but I am pretty sure they are going to be good to go for a very long time.

My new kitchen favorite!
This is my new kitchen favorite!! I'm not a professional or gourmet chef, I'm a mom with a husband and boys that can seriously eat and keep eating. So I make food in bulk. I ordered this pan because it was 13 inches - pretty big. And the description said it was oven proof - a big deal for me since my boys are busy and many days eat at different times. I received it almost immediately. It came much sooner than Amazon's estimated delivery date. When I unpacked it, it was so gorgeous I just washed it and put it on my stove top for a few days so I could admire it. I threatened anyone who looked like they wanted to use it before me. I cooked a few quick things at first and it was nice, but the real test is something "serious". Like I said, I'm not a gourmet chef, and I usually don't get to focus and cook. I have a million things going on and get pulled in a dozen different directions constantly. So it's not all that uncommon for smoke or burning to happen on my stove. To put my new pain to the test, I made a chicken dish that is rich, cheesy, and sticky. I left it for a bit and ran back to check on it - It was still coming along perfectly. I stuck it in the oven to stay warm. When I was finally ready to clean up later that night, what was left in the pan just poured right out!! No sticking, no scraping, no scrubbing. It took me about 30 seconds to hand wash it, dry it and place it back on the TOP of my stove so I can admire it again for another few days. I'm thrilled with this new frying pan.

Healthy, Safe and Never Fail Non-Stick Pan.❤️❤️❤️
I bought this pan because it was a different type of non stick product. I don’t like using non-stick teflon coated products as I think they are potentially dangerous. This was purchased for the express purpose of making a big puffy sweet version of Yorkshire Pudding for breakfasts. I wanted to cut out all the butter we were using to keep it from sticking to the soufflé dishes. It was a great success. But now, there isn’t anything that I can’t cook in this wonderful pan. No matter what it is, everything slides out effortlessly and water actually rinses the pan clean. Of course I use a sponge and soap but my point is even if I’m cooking pork chops with sauerkraut with no oil or added moisture, everything browns beautifully and nothing sticks or burns. Great fried chicken, pancakes, sautéed fruit, fantastic job on fish fillets. This pan is worth more than $200 and is a bargain at $89.00. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve bought two more as Bridal Shower gifts.

We love our DaTerra 13" and 11 frying pan!
I bought this pan and the next size down that has a lid for my mom for Christmas. They are our go-to pan for cooking. They still allow browning to happen but you can easily deglaze the pan or use a plastic scraper for stonewear (came with our pampered chef pizza stone & they are suitable for non-stick). Otherwise we use the silicone sponges. Her only complaint is she wish this size has a lid. She asked for the 13" wok and is hoping the lid will work for both. Well used for a whole year and sometimes I caught my Dad throwing in a metal utensil, their still isn't a scratch, they look new. Oh, yeah! I even flambéd (I know that's probably not the proper use of that word.) a couple of times, with large blue rum flames. As you can see the pictures provided are almost a year after purchase they were bought December last year... I think she liked the one pan so much she wanted one with a lid so I bought her the 11 in probably January. The pics are of the 13" it gets the most use and most chance of gettting scratched by other lids and pots. Our pot/pan cubbord is stacked.

The wife approves
First off, this is the missus talking. Joe's specialty ain't the kitchen. I'm the main cook in this house and use this pan the most.My initial impression is good. The pan is *much* lighter than cast iron without feeling flimsy. This petite lady with stick wrists needed the strength of cast iron minus the weight. It has been carted from stove to table to sink with no complaints from my delicate carpals. The only "downside" to it is remembering that it requires seasoning. My mornings can be rather hectic given that I run a 3-ring toddler circus whilst the man is off working and seasoning the pan oft slips my mind. That being said, it's still non-stick after a month of daily usage with occasional seasoning.Cleaning it takes me less time than pouring a cup of coffee...or watching hubby do it.The heat distribution is great. I made French toast just the other day and all the slices were within a few degrees of golden to each other.I don't usually put skillets in the oven for baking, but Joe likes a pineapple upside down cake for his birthday and I'll attempt it in the pan to see how it does.Overall, lightweight and holding up well. Let's see if I remember to update this review after I make his cake...or a year...it might cross my mind in 5 years. We'll see.
