Ive had other sets like this before, long oval and rounded square, both unusual but attractive shapes, these are hexagonal...octagonal actually, my mistake !ideal for sorting/storing variouis bits & pieces, hinges & locks work fine, a little rough in some places but nothing a littlefine sandpaper wouldn`t cure quickly...I haven`t decorated any of them and they age & darken slightly, naturally over time and look totally ok untreated.Perfect for storage that can be left on view rather than old cardboard boxes hidden away and these sit nicely when stacked ojn top of each other.A slight "deco" effect to them with the shape and stepped lid....more interesting than plain geometric cubes.

Love the shape of these boxes. Great to paint, first set I painted sold quickly. So very happy. This is my 2nd set, had to sand down a few rough edges, otherwise very good.

Boxes are nice to look at , easy to open and close but main box came with damage , but I'm sure this was from delivery man as threw bag on floor from van, before handing to customer
