It saved time
all you had to do was just put dough into the mold

Perfect for GF challah
Great little molds that allow me to make gluten free challah in single serve portions. GF bread recipes typically are more of a batter than dough, so this works very well.

Bake longer, and don't expect the smooth, glossy top crust
These things are fantastic, but I have learned over the past week of working with them that you WON'T get the perfectly smooth glossy crust you expect, and that you need to bake the challah in this pan for 30 minutes before the turn-out and baking on the baking sheet for another 20 minutes.

Challah Bread Mold
Loved it, first time making a challah and this came in very handy. Couldn't send a picture because my husband ate them very quickly.

Difficult to use with gluten free dough
I bought these to make gluten free challahs. I found out quickly that the molds do not have a flat surface to balance on. Do to the more watery texture of gluten free dough they are very difficult to transfer and balance in the oven with out spilling the dough. I have learned to balance them on a cookie sheet fill/let rise then move the cookie sheet to the oven. This has reduced the spilling but has not stopped it.

Idea better than how it worked
As I have been baking gluten free challah in the silicone molded challah and 4 chalets pans for years I needed a replacement for ripped up challet pan . I thought this purchase of separating 4 challet into 2 pans was great idea …. Until I baked with them . Now I need to do a new batch to take as guest for Shabbat…. And find a different product

Great concept, but very unstable
Unfortunately, the 2 pack is very unstable, and needs to be placed in such a way that it is supported...Only Only solution is to put 2 together to stabalize.

Great for baking perfect challah bread
I used it. I let the yeast dough rise inside the mould. It was perfect. It came out soft inside and a bit crunchy from the outside. Just as I wanted it. It just dropped out of the mould by itself when it turned it upside down. No need to force it. They are pretty expensive moulds but it is worth it.
