The 2013 BCS National Championship: A Reflection on America's Moral Equivalent of War, Occasioned by the Latest Meeting on the Gridiron of the Crimson Tide and Notre Dame

After reading 2013 BCS National Championship on my Kindle,I was struck with how much knowledge Mr. Ayers has of both history and football, notsurprisingly since he majored in history at the University of Alabamaand has been a spectator in the last 5 decades of political history,as well as a lifelong Alabama football fan. I was not prepared for the idea ofthe sameness of war and the sport of football. Mr. Ayers has given me a verydifferent insight into the game of football as seen through the eyes of anintellectual Southern male. I felt the deep love of the game from both afamily perspective, as well as a historical love of the game. Thank you,Brandt Ayers for such a formidable preview to the coming game and to seasons ahead.

Couldn't really call this a book. It's O.K for its limited scope. But disappointing in what I was expecting from it.

I collect Notre Dame football books as well as other Notre Dame football stuff and this was an edition to my collection
