QL-38-LP Quik-Latch Hood Pin Kit (Machined Aluminum)

I had a bum set the first time. The nut that's used to hold it to the sheet metal was frozen to the latch. No worries though they promptly sent me a replacement set.The second set, one of the nuts was rough as it got closer to getting tight so I used a thread file on the upper most threads. After that went together easy.Lots and LOTS of measuring to make sure they are placed correctly is the game here!

Bought after receiving Stetion 25mm. These are much nicer and heavier, very nice studs and durable materials. The instructions require a very large hole on the inside to leave room to tighten the lock ring, but they should just include set screws like they do on the larger version. The release button is also not the “smoothest” when opening, either needs to be perfectly lined up, broken in, or greased. Time will tell. But they look great when installed!

The Quik latch was what I was looking for to support my fiberglass hood, works great. A little touchy installing to make sure all the hardware will line up with the pins on the radiator support and getting the pins set to the right height.

Works like a champ with cheese they really work better than you think when they are locked in position they don’t release until you push in the button Awesome and the look amazing
