Packaging sucked but it works!
I recently tried this SPF 33 sunscreen and was decently impressed with its performance. Not only did it effectively protect my skin from the sun's harmful rays, but it also left no white cast on my dark skin. This is a huge plus for me, as I have struggled in the past to find sunscreens that do not leave a noticeable residue on my skin tone. The formula was lightweight and absorbed quickly, making it easy to apply and wear under my makeup. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the sunscreen and would recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable sun protection product that does not leave a white cast on darker skin tones. The packaging however sucked! I took the cap off and the entire pump came flying off with it so a quarter of my sunscreen went onto clothing and countertops. This was a huge annoyance but not something I think this brand would've anticipated.

OK face sunscreen, but you can find better for the price.
First, I have to preface that I have been thoroughly spoiled by Korean and Japanese sunscreens. Unfortunately, until the US FDA approves more modern filters (unlikely), American sunscreens will have a hard time measuring up.This is a decent sunscreen considering the limitations of American filters. It stung my eyes only a little, wasn't too drying, and had a much lighter cast than I expected. If I had never experienced Asian sunscreens, I would have been thoroughly impressed. It was much less drying, irritating, heavy, and casty than my other experiences with American sunscreens.However- given my other options, I just wouldn't be able to justify purchasing this product, and probably won't even be able to make myself finish this bottle. It's not comfortable enough for me to power through the bottle, and I have better sunscreens that are half the price. So who is this for? If you don't trust the Asian sunscreens after the scandals a couple years ago, and your skin is sensitive to organic sunscreen filters, are no darker than a Fitzpatrick type III, don't want a tint, and can afford this bottle, but not $50 plus for a sunscreen, then this is your sunscreen. This is the best American one I've found at this price point. If you can splurge a an extra $20 or so, you can get one much more elegant that beats this in all categories except price.

left my skin feeling dry; can't use when I'm going to get hot & sweaty
UPDATE: In using up the product, I wore it several days when I was outdoors, not exeritng myself a lot but in hot Georgia in August. Even though I applied more than an hour before I went outside, as soon as I got hot and started sweating, my arms developed a white film to the point that when I leaned on a deck railing, I left the railing white. I'm deducting another star for this reason.Absorbs well. Slight purple cast when first applied but that went away after a couple minutes. I typically use a combination moisturizer with sunscreen so I may have to figure out how to use a separate moisturizer with this product. When used alone, my skin felt dry and a bit prickly. For that reason, I won't be ordering more.

Great mineral sun screen
This sunscreen is easy to pump out in small increments, and it’s very lightweight! It absorbs super easy as well which is one of the greatest things about this sunscreen. It doesn’t leave all that white mess! I don’t think it’s as effective as typical sunscreen, so I apply it every hour to be sure that I’m protecting my skin. All it takes is a very light layer so it doesn’t bother me to reapply. So far so good, and I can wear it under my makeup with no issues. No skin sensitivities either. Good sunscreen!

Lightweight sunscreen
This sunscreen is unlike any other I've tried: it truly is a lotion, and although it's a mineral sunscreen, there isn't even a hint of a white cast. No fragrance. Nothing in the least bit problematic. I have been wearing it every day since it arrived, and although we don't have enough sun here to test out all its properties, I like the fact that it melts into the skin and offers a layer of protection.Only (minor) complaint: I can't dispense lotion unless the bottle is straight up. Not a big deal. I have about a dozen sunscreens in my current rotation, and I will continue to reach for this one.

Not sticky
I find that the majority of mineral based sunscreens are sticky and leave a thick residue on your face. I did not have that problem with this product. It is thinner that most mineral based products, but still thick enough to sit on top of the skin. It does not leave a white film over the skin and after it dried I was not able to tell that I was wearing it. It is the middle of winter so I cannot test out it's full potential to block out the hot summer sun, but so far I am very pleased.

Matte finish and gentle on skin
I found this sunscreen to be a bit less emollient/creamy than I’m normally used to. As a result, it took a little more product to cover my face. The white tint disappears almost immediately, but you are left with a bit of a dull/matte finish. I like to apply moisturizer on top of this, not only to give my skin a more dewy finish, but also because this isn’t hydrating on its own. Nevertheless, it doesn’t dry out the skin and I also found the formula to be quite gentle and mild. Those who normally wear foundation will probably not be bothered by the matte finish as it likely provides a good base for makeup. Those with sensitive skin will likely appreciate the mildness of this formula. And of course, I love that it’s a mineral based sunscreen vs chemical.
