Works great for me!
Recently I started having upset stomachs after eating dairy, I had bought some other brands of pills before which made it so I could partake in a pizza or a slice of cheese but little else. These ones seem to really work for me, I can eat all the pizza and cheese that I want without any pains! Last night I had mac and cheese with some extra cheddar and Monterrey jack shredded in it (also some spinach and cauliflower - delicious!) and felt no issue. I take one before I have apple and cheese no issue, and I can make myself up quesadilla again without feeling bad. I still avoid milk because of how ill it has made me in the past but as fair as cheese goes no issues! (I don't eat other dairy products so I cannot attest to how it works for things with higher lactose content and of course sensitivity varies from person to person. But without this any cheese gives me cramps and bloating and usually diarrhea within a half hour after eating.)I only take one pill right before I eat and I'm fine, never felt the need to take more than one. Even if I eat and then eat in an hour or so again I don't have issues so they seem to last awhile. Not a big fan of the packaging it comes in sheets individually wrapped pills, just seems kind of wasteful to me!

great product for the price
The packet arrived ahead of time and it was nicely packed.I love Kirkland lactase for the ease to swallow and each individually wrapped tablet ensures the stability of the compound and prevents it from oxidation/deterioration as lactase can absorb moisture and can become soggy.I would highly recommend this product to anyone suffering from lactose intolerance. One tablet before enjoying your ice cream or any milk product will ease your discomfort.

Works for me!
I am moderately lactose intolerant, (meaning that I don't have severe reactions when I eat dairy products, like diarrhea or vomiting, but I do get belly aches and painful, smelly gas.) I've used these Kirkland lactase tablets for about a year and, as long as I take it with my first bite of dairy, I'm pretty much symptom free afterward. I take only one if I eat pizza or other food containing smaller amounts of dairy, (I pick off most of the cheese and eat mostly the crust and toppings). I take two for ice cream since, for some reason, ice cream hits me harder than anything. I've never taken the name brand version, so I don't know how it compares, but I've never needed anything but this brand. It works very well for me. I've bought several of these packs and will continue to buy it.

I can have cheese again. Thank you.
After succumbing to the wretched disease of lactose intolerance 5-6 years ago, I avoided dairy like the plague even though I had grown up guzzling milk. I never knew there was a pill to curb the disease. A friend told me about these pills about 3-4 yearsago. I bought some and sat down and drank my first cup of milk in a very long time. Popped the pills. And felt none of the usual turmoil afterwards. These work great and so do all the other versions I've tried (Lactaid, Walgreens version, Walmart version, CVS version, etc). It just depends on how bad your intolerance is. Mine is pretty bad. So I generally avoid dairy, but if I do have any (because I may have an addiction to cheese), I have a pretty good ratio in mind after year's of vicious trial and error.

Love it! Been using it for years
I've been buying this product on prime for a few years now, after initially using Lactaid brand and this is not only a better deal, but I don't have to go out and search for it in every drug store! They are not as chalky as the other brands and they always work for me. For someone else asking how long one pill is effective - it depends. I take one pill for a regular cup serving of dairy - but I do find that if I'm having a long dinner that has dairy throughout - like cheese on the salad, milk based dressing, cheese on my pasta and bread dip, it will last me the whole meal. So long as I'm not going overboard on the serving size. If I'm eating a yogurt and then want a cup of milk, I'd take two pills.

Works well - mostly
These lactase tablets work well as expected with no cramps or loose stools, just increased gassiness. Best of all, they can be taken, as reviewed above, at the same time as the dairy product which means I can eat what I want, when I want without fear. However, I've had 1 tablet in the pack that didn't seem to work at all so if you're using this before an important day, you may want to take a second tablet to reduce the risk of a dud. Since you can't tell which tablet is a dud (like a bad oyster) - one star off for "fear factor". Otherwise an excellent product and I would re-order it again.

PERFECT!! THANK YOU!!
I was looking for a cheap way to gain weight, so I decided to drink half a gallon of milk a day. Well, that didn't workout because I realized that if I drink more than a cup, i get stomach pains/burps/farts/diarrhea..etc. So I went and bought some lactose free milk at the store for FIVE DOLLARS FOR HALF GALLON! My regular gallon of whole milk costs 2.60, so i can't do this.So I went and bought these lactase tablets, 180 for 20bucks. Freaking AWESOME! All I take is two pills right when i start drinking my milk, and I drank HALF A GALLON, and i have zero symptoms. I will burp a little, but no farts/diarrhea/pain or anything. So, basically with 4 pills, I can drink a gallon. Thats like 45 gallons of milk at the cost of 20dollars... so roughly 50cents a gallon. At 50cents a gallon costs, it costs me 3.10 to drink a gallon of milk compared to over 10$ at the store. Yeah... awesome. <333 this product!

Seem to work well. Good packaging.
The lactase seems to work well, although it's quite a high dose per tablet, but that make it good value. Very handy packaging to keep a few in your wallet, handbag or pocket.

Frequently ineffective, despite other brands working well
This brand of lactase feels like a coinflip on whether it'll help or not, and I frequently have to take two or even three to account for it. Chewing vs just swallowing makes no difference. Meanwhile, other brands work perfectly for me with a single tablet. It makes me wonder whether some of the tablets are duds and don't actually contain the claimed amount of lactase. This initially seemed like a good value option, but in future I will stick with other brands.

These are a good send
These tablets are brilliant. One in Holland and Barret don't work on my husband for his lactose intolerance but my friend told me about these as she uses them. Send me a strip in the post for him to try before spending so much and finding they don't work like the Holland and Barret ones. They are amazing so now I tell anyone I know about these tablets. He's so happy he can enjoy pizza again
