BCH Paper Feed Gear Replacement for HP OfficeJet Pro 9012 9018 9020 9025- Fix Printhead Carriage Jam, Grinding Noise & PF Gear Error

We purchased this gear to replace the broken one in our HP printer. The gear came on time as expected. It came with great instruction but was a little rough installing the gear. The printer is working fine now! This was a good buy!

Needed this after reading about `printer carriage jam` on my HP Officejet is a common repair. It is probably a .25 piece of plastic but it does the trick and has helpful video which is the reason for the 5*.. Even tried the recommended soak in hot water trick to make more pliable..Worked like a charm and after screwing in all the screws,to my surprise,after a short s/w update everything lined up to work. Sorta proud of myself for not simply investing in a new printer when this one was brought back to life quickly.Note-the video is extremely helpful. I think they recommend taking it apart TOO much. I took off only about 66% of the screws recommended and gained access to what I needed.I am handy but this was new to me. You need LONG torx t10 bits for drill (recommended) or hand tool.

Make sure to heat it in hot water first, as the directions recommend. It will make it much easier for you to install it. We did not see this recommendation the first time, and when we installed it, the piece broke, and I had to order a new one.

Waiting for replacement

This product works, but it was slightly thicker than the original gear and even after following the package recommendations of soaking it in 150 degree water it didn't fit onto the post properly. I ended up having to file down the gear with a nail file so it would fit in, it's almost like it didn't set properly when made. Once installed it's worked perfectly.

Worked as described. It was a little difficult to install but it worked out and fixed the problem.

Printer now working again! Was a little challenging to replace the gear, but with the right tools and a little patience it can be done. Video was very helpful.

Gear broke when I was installing it. Could be me or the gear but either way it cost me another $20 for an overpriced item.

The media could not be loaded. Lo use para reparar una impresora HP y quedo de maravilla, se le atoro una hoja y colocaron mal un cartucho y se quedo atorado en carrito de impresión.La pieza le quedo de maravilla, viene con instrucciones para curarlo (colocarlo en agua caliente )y para que se pueda poner facil, lo anterior hace que la pieza quede un poco suave para colocarla ademas que en la instrucción indica que esto hace que la pieza quede mas resistente
