The price is so reasonable on these I was skeptical--but these are pretty sweet. They were the biggest saddle bags I could find on the internet, and they are fabulously roomy. I like to do overnight, even multi-day, trips with my horse but without a pack horse. These are perfect. had them out for a night and could've fit more on top if I had wanted to. Wasn't sure about the clip attachment design either, but now I'm sold on that as well. Load your bags on the ground and pop them into place without untying from the saddle--awesome. Buying another pair!

Lots of room
Lots of room and compartments. took a bad fall in the rocks on the Arizona Peace Trail and only pulled a D-ring at the bottom out which did not cause a problem. No tears or rips. Meant for horses but worked well on my DR650 with side racks. The racks keep it off the exhaust and out of the wheels.

Not for single track dirt bikes
I used these as dirt bike saddle bags and they really did not work. I the bags defense I did not have a rack for the back of the bike and they where loaded to the gills. I strapped them to the back fender and sub frame. Tested them for 26 miles and they worked well. Once on my trip we hit a bunch of whooped out trail and they where bouncing around and eventually into the rear tire. I could not get them to stay out of the rear tire and eventually had to go to a back pack. Bottom line is they are nice bags I just pushed them to far.

Looks Good
Bought this for my KLR650, and I just took it out of the box. I'm pleasantly surprised by how big it is, I was worried. It looks like it will strap right onto my rear tray and Happy Trails SU racks. Not as large as the metal hard boxes but still very useful in size. I shall update as it gets some use.

Multi purpose horse camping
Well made bags, ample room for an overnighter for supplies, stove, clothes, emergency gear, etc. would be great to back pack the same bag if you're getting down into a lake to fish, leaving the horse in camp. Too large for day rides. Nice natural color loaded with pockets, and straps that tighten down the load.

many pockets and I like that they can be removed and used as backpacks
WOW! These are HUGE! Lots of room, many pockets and I like that they can be removed and used as backpacks. I was going to use them for my solo motorcycle trip this summer, unfortunately I won't be able to use them due to the height of my bike (lack of height) and the large size of these bags. However, I am keeping them for my next bike which will be more of an adventure style (taller) bike.

I will start off by saying that I am using this on my motorcycle, so not as it was intended. These saddlebags are great solution for those who don't want to spend hundreds on motorcycle bags.

Works great on motorcycles, too.
Bought two of these for use on two motorcycles -- a Suzuki DR650 and a Kawasaki KLR650. They worked great on the KLR which had a soft luggage rack to support them and offer mounting points to strap to. The DR had no rack but we were still able to mount them over the plastic side covers, which mostly worked. These things survived multiple slides off-road with only superficial damage. I highly recommend them for Adventure riders not wanting to spend more on their bags than they did on their bike.
