great product works fine

Works great for comfortably digesting dairy products. Even though I have a dairy allergy,sometimes I can't avoid consuming dairy and when those times arise, these Lacto tablets are the answer.I always keep them on hand.

I was recommended to this particular product, by relatives who used it, when I suddenly began to have symptoms of lactose intolerance for several months. Although I was skeptical at first, I decided to try it anyway. It's surprisingly effective at reducing or eliminating my symptoms. Now, I keep a bottle at home and even bring it to restaurants when we eat out. It may not work for everyone, but it's certainly worth trying. It does work VERY well for me.

I've had this problem for fifty years. I tried everything available for lactose intolerance. This is the best. It cuts down on the gas bloating and all the rest. You can go out to dinner and not worry. Full disclosure....i do not eat foods high in lactose as a rule. There are so many dairy-free products available now.However when out to dinner or at friends for dinner you don't have to have that annoying conversation about what's in this food or that. Do I wish it was less expensive? At 83 years old sure I do. Am I still going to purchase this product? Absolutely. For the peace of mind alone.

I've known I was lactose intolerant for years, and have spent way less money in the past using generic lactase enzymes from the grocery store. Now I'm a lot more conscious of what I put in my body and don't want any extra 'junk' in my pills (and the grocery store I bought it from went bankrupt so I couldn't buy that any more even if I wanted to).As far as the natural pills go, some of them are really weak if you look at the amount of lactase enzyme in the pills. Some might be strong enough but have junk like maltodextrin - I don't need extra corn in my diet, especially if it's not organic! Look up the pesticide 'atrazine', it's not good stuff! This is a junk free strong pill. No maltodextrine or other fillers.But it gets 4 stars instead of 5 because it's basically as expensive as a medication! Seriously, how much more does "lactose free" milk, sour cream, or cream cheese (which is really regular dairy with lactase enzyme added, not actually lactose removed) cost compared to dairy that doesn't have lactase added to it? Not a whole lot more. It's gotta be a cheap supplement, it's not patented, or from a rare source in the Himalayas or something. But it costs a fortune because I don't want junk in my supplements and being dairy free isn't fun. And I want the freedom of choosing 100% grass-fed milk instead of the lactase added "lactose free" milk that is grain fed. So I'm a repeat customer but not happy about the price.Oh, and it's way more convenient to have the blister packaging or individually wrapped pills if you're having a meal away from home, so that's a ding as well.

I like the complement of lactase with other digestive enzymes. My digestive system is 68 years old and has endured a lifetime of profligate antibiotic use which has most likely had a negative impact on my microbiota. That and alcohol… So, despite eating a vegetable and nutrition dense Mediterranean diet mostly, I have lactose intolerance and various other foods also make my system bloat, gurgle, and hurt. I take this product when I eat any dairy, and I take it daily with my evening meal even without having any dairy. It works when I take and not when I forget to take it. Five stars.

I am writing this review again as I did not see my previous review post. Some change happened a few days back where the packaging on bottle changed, and the capsules smell rotten now. Other reviews have also complained about the same thing. This product should be recalled right away. I have used the same product for several years, this is very effective. But not sure what changed recently. I bought two bottles and both had the same rotten smell. I had to switch over to buy dairy assist.

This is easy to swallow and works better than any dairy digestion aid I've ever tried, and I've tried several. Yes, this is more expensive, but if you love milk and milk products as I do, this product is worth every penny. The difference is it breaks down dairy sugar AND dairy protein. No one else has that, and it makes all the difference. Not one complaint from my gut after I ate a bowl of cereal with cold milk or when I ate a cup of ice cream. WONDERFUL!
