Use sublimation ink without the need for special blanks
I bought this product to use with my cutting machine and infusible ink sheets. I was reluctant to try using the infusible ink before because of only being able to use it with special product blanks that didn't fit in what I generally make. This product allowed me to prepare my preferred fabric choice, quilting cotton, and then apply an infusible ink design. I followed the directions to spray the fabric being careful not to oversaturate it. I set it aside to dry while I prepared the design I planned to apply. When the fabric was dry, I used my ironing press to apply the ink design to my fabric. It adhered easily and looks and feels great. I'm so happy to have found this product and look forward to finding more opportunities to use it in my crafting. The bottle came with two extra nozzles, I presume for possible clogging. Only using it this first time, I had no issues that required me to switch the heads. The second picture shows my fabric after it had dried completely. Even though I was afraid I might have over-applied the spray in a couple places where it dripped, I was pleased that it dried without any marks. The third picture shows my finished item using infusible ink sheets cut on my cutting machine.

Did well for school project
This sublimation coating spray did well for my daughter’s elementary school project. We used 100% cotton substrate to transfer the image of her choice to a white T-shirt. The box contained clear and concise instructions. To ensure to cover the entire transfer area, I placed wide masking tape and sparingly sprayed, including corners, not to oversaturate the fabric. Then I let it dry naturally while we printed the image and let it dry too. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, as I did not experience any yellowing and the colors transferred very bright and vivid. My daughter is happy and took her newly printed t-shirt to school. The product comes in a sealed pouch with two extra spray heads, which is a nice touch. Shipping was fast, no spilled product.

It works but you need to be really careful
This review is for ecodot 100ml Sublimation Coating Spray for Cotton T-Shirts, All Fabric Including Polyester, Carton, Tote Bag, Pillows with high Gloss Finish and Quick Dry Formula 1 Step ProcessI tried this spray on two different shirts, both made of cotton. Technically, it worked, but I don’t know if I want to use it again. The instructions are very poor, and are insufficient if you haven’t used a similar product before. The spray took about 10 minutes to dry after application. I feel like there is a lot of testing and trying required, because the instructions tell you not to over saturate the fabric, but don’t explain how much is enough. When it came to heat-pressing, the first shirt, grey one, worked well. I used 350°F and about 50 seconds. The smell was pretty foul, though. I washed that shirt and the design did not wash off. That one, I’ll call a success. Now, the second shirt - formerly white one - was a fail. I increased the temp to 400°F as I wanted to colors to be as bright as possible. The entire surface has yellowed. The shirt is pretty much ruined now. The instructions do say that yellowing may be caused by using too high of a temperature, but do not say what temperature should be used. Well, now I (and you!) know that 400°F is too high and will cause yellowing. If I will use it again, I will not go above 350°F.I feel like this product could be much more useful if it had good instructions. I am keeping the review at 3 stars, however, because it does work and can be washed.

Works perfectly on cotton! Other items? Read on!
This spray worked great! I did try it on some items that were NOT material just to see what it would do. You know, experiment. So the first item I tried was a small fabric bag. I do not know if this is muslin or cotton to be honest. It worked perfectly! (3rd photo) Next I tried it on a wood round. Note that this one was VERY thin and due to the heat needed for infusible ink/sublimation it did warp. I took photos to show this, they are photos 8 and 9. The sublimation spray worked beautifully on the wood! I was so impressed! It's nice and vibrant. In photos 4 and 5 you can see the infusible ink piece that is BEFORE being pressed. So you can see how much it brightens up after pressing. The first 2 pictures are of a NON SUBLIMATION mug that I sprayed and I did so by spraying it once and allowing it to dry and then I sprayed it a second time because I was concerned about streaking. So as you can see by the photos it did NOT work. While there were some areas that it did bind to but not very well. It should have been much more vibrant. So it definitely does not work on cups. To be fair it IS meant to be used on material and not non-porous surfaces. I believe it worked for the wood because it was able to sink into it. I definitely recommend this product if you need to apply sublimation to cotton or a blend.
