You can do both with this. My first time, & I'm, very pleased. Easy to use, but be patient with the result.It takes a few times for everything to adjust itself. DON'T BANG IT ABOUT.

Loved gift by all ages
I’ve gifted this item to a few and all love and cherish it. A real keepsake. Beautiful unique landscapes are created at every turn and they are wonderful to watch whilst in creation. It takes a long time for all the sand to fall. Its beautiful to watch, has no frame so you can see all the way to the edges, and little stands to hold it up. Great xmas present.

A different picture for everyday
The continual change of shape makes it never ending interesting. Some are so beautiful especially with the gold that you do not want to turn the picture over for a few days lol.When first arrived thought it was not working but after a couple of days to settle in and warm up it worked a treat. Would definitely recommend for a treat to yourself or given as a present. I love it and been told recipients also love theirs.

Not the best...
We ordered this after becoming slightly obsessed with a similar one that my parents had been given. Unfortunately this one sits at an angle that causes the sand to "stick" most of the time, and the frameless glass isn't conducive to giving it a really good shake (as recommended to improve the bubbles). We ended up returning it and spending a little more for a wood-framed one.

Landscape elegante y relajante
El paisaje que forma es muy bonito, esta muy elegante. El balance de costo y calidad y muy bueno. Pase tiempo viendo las formas que se hacen con la arena y es muy relajante.

Tolles Sandbild, sehr beruhigend
Es ist unfassbar beruhigend, wenn man auf dieses Bild schaut. Mitgeliefert wird auch eine Spritze, so dass man die Luftmenge regulieren kann. Ich habe es nun nach etwas testen so eingestellt, dass der Sand rund eine Stunde läuft. Gerade wenn ich viel Schreiben muss, ist es eine gute Erholung für die Augen, dort alle 3 Minuten einmal hinzuschauen, Luft zu holen und dann weiterzumachen. Werde sicher zu Weihnachten einige verschenken!
