Best for detailing a fiberglass boat!!
Wow! I should have bought this machine years ago. I didn't buy through Amazon, but direct from Detail Kings. I paired this buffer with the Lake Country 3-3/4" backing plate and the 4" yellow (Lake Country) heavy cut pads. This along with some Norton Ice compound takes the oxidation off of the areas of the boat that my 7" Makita can't get towith ease. If you're on the fence between this and a random orbit, I can't recommend this polisher enough. I also have the Grios Garage 6" and 3" random orbit polishers, and while they have their place, it's not for compounding a finberglads boat. I will relagate these RO polishers to applying wax, and removing swirls from automotive paint.
