Bought this as a fun festive activity to do with my daughter. There were no instructions or recipe included in the box, and some of the cutters were a bit out of shape and needed tweaking.We used the Mary Berry gingerbread recipe, you need to make quite a lot of dough. We made the mistake of pre cutting the shapes out of the dough, and we baked it for the full amount of time. The shapes all distorted in the oven and the gingerbread was too brittle to cut afterwards. We also should have rolled it out a bit thinner. Next time we will roll out thin sheets, bake for a shorter time and then use the cutters on the still-soft gingerbread and leave it to harden up a bit.We did have a go at decorating and assembling the house but inevitably the icing 'glue' took too long to dry and the whole thing collapsed under its own weight. Still tasted great though!Overall we had fun with this set and we've learned a few lessons for next year...
