Easy Installation But Poor Fit on ā06 Mustang
Purchased as a surprise for my wife yesterday. Arrived today. That part is pretty cool. Removal of old struts and installation of these new ones was super easy, just need a small flathead screwdriver. Two stars because once on, the fit and function leave too much to be desired. While they improved the lift of the trunk (ā06 Mustang) as they should, the fit and Iām assuming the precision of the measurement, result in bouncing of the trunk when it reaches the full open position. Amazon only allowed one video to be uploaded with this review, but I have a second that helps complete the explanation. In sum: they work, but Iām concerned they are going to cause unnecessary wear & tear on the trunk hinges. May see about returning and getting a different brand.
