Small Mini Durable ABS Covered Solid Brass Body Individually Keyed Padlock - 8 Pack Lock Set

These are perfect. We needed simple locks for employees for their lockers at work. These were the best value for the money. Yes I'm sure they are easy to pick or destroy but just needed something that makes someone think before opening someone else locker. I recommend these as an inexpensive deterrent.

LOVE that each lock has it's OWN set of keys! No need for worrying about other keys opening the other locks.

Overall these are wonderful for my specific applicationUnfortunately I do have to subtract a star because one lock no longer clicks shut and remains openUnderstandably I want these to be reliable

The locks came individually keyed with two identical keys per lock, shipped in a plain Amazon parcel. Contrary to what the store page claims, not all keys were unique. There were some duplicates. (i.e. a set of keys could unlock multiple locks.) I see some reviews saying that all were indeed unique, so I suspect it's down to luck whether you end up with duplicates.The shackle is 1/8" (3-4mm) in diameter and seems to be made of stainless steel. If you only need to create the illusion of security, or want to keep something secure from children, this will probably do the trick. It's impossible to break it with bare hands. Due to the small size, I wouldn't expect this to stop a well-equipped burglar, but at $2 per lock I think that's pretty reasonable.The plastic covering is made of ABS, which has quite a reputation for being nearly indestructible under normal conditions. It's the same plastic that LEGO is made of, so as a big fan of LEGO personally, this caught my eye and told me that they were using good, premium materials. Of the 8 locks I got, the plastic housing could be pulled off of 1 of them. I don't think it's supposed to come off, but it snapped back on just fine, and the lock remained functional even without the plastic. The plastic is very slightly textured so it's easy to grip, and is fairly pleasant to handle.Overall I'm pretty happy with this product. The duplicate keys and the plastic coming off are the only problems I've noticed so far, and for my purposes neither one is a dealbreaker.

These appear to be similar quality and size of another brand set of locks I recently bought for twice as much. Overall this is a great value. Keep in mind these are 3/4" with a shackle about the size of a standard opening in a locking zipper.

I have ordered these locks twice and they have never failed me. They are small, sturdy, and have a smooth locking and unlocking mechanism. I'm never worried they won't unlock or a key will get stuck. The locks have never let me down. They aren't big enough to stop a well prepared criminal, but they work great for keeping kids out of trouble. I use these locks on my ammo cans to keep my kids from where they shouldn't be and they work perfectly.

I have purchased several sets of these keys to use as matching activitiesin my kindergarten. The kids solve equations or sound out words attached to the keys and match them to the appropriate answers on the locks. I have been able to color code the sets for different skills and ability levels. This is one fun practice activity the kids always ask to do again and again!

I love them. The colors are beautiful and the padlocks are strong. I like how professional it looks when they all are similar but different at the same time. It's a great quality/price value.
