I ordered a battery with the wrong size terminals and this fixed the problem. They fit snug. They were not a bargain but they came in a couple days and the Amazon shipping costs have to be considered.

I wanted to replace a 12v 7Ah battery in an old UPS with a 12v 9Ah battery, but the only available 9Ah batteries had F2 terminals. Got these so I could step down, and they're perfect. The fit is nice and snug, exactly as you'd want them to be, and fit both on the F2 terminals on the battery and into the F1 leads on the UPS.

I had no idea that I had to specify the proper terminal width for the backup battery for my home alarm system, and of course, I bought a battery with F2 terminals when I should have gotten one with the smaller F1 terminals. I suppose I could have tried to trim the F2 terminals with wire cutters, but these adapters seemed easier and had less risk of catastrophic damage. The adapters worked fine and are cheaper than buying yet another battery! (When the new battery reaches the end of its useful life, I will have to remember to keep the adapters for future use and not throw them away with the old battery.)

This cost more than it should.

Bought 2 batteries online but didn’t realize they had the larger terminals. Not able to return them and thought I had wasted $40. Then saw these. It’s a miracle! Now I can use the batteries!
