We used the video, study guide and book for our Bible study group. We enjoyed the video but for our group we found the book to encourage far more discussion. The study guide is broken into two parts - the first part of each section follows the video almost verbatim and the second part is a personal study that can be broken down in 5, 15 or 30 minute studies to accommodate any schedule. I would not really call this a Bible study as it is more of a topical study with lots of self-reflection but it is still worth the effort to complete.

Great read
Exellent book that is an easy read. I love the pages in the back where they listed some highlighted quotes in a way that could be torn out or copied to place in a prominent place as a reminder. Lisa has given me a lot of good food for thought.

Great study so far
Great study so far! I lead a women's bible group at my church of 10 women and everyone is enjoying the chapters so far. The study guide has 3 different personal study times they can do on their own during the week. Very convicting and can't wait to see how God uses this book in our lives.

The Best Yes for Your Ladies Bible Study Option
Great study w/ short video intro to each lesson that gives a brief summary of readings for that lesson. Love hearing from the author as she speaks directly from God's Word and gives personal application. Currently doing study with 20 gals. We're loving it!!!

Best or Settling for Less?
I read this book because, ever since I retired, I have been trying to focus on doing the things I love most, scheduling them -- and doing them -- as much as possible. To some that sounds selfish, but for me, it’s the difference between feeling gratified or barely satisfied. Am I being purposeful -- or just very busy? That difference is what Lysa TerKeurst is urging: learn to discern! Find our unique “part” in God’s Song, and then “sing” it as much as possible. She does not mean it literally; she means it figuratively and universally. She is saying that each of us is an instrument designed with a part to play in The Overall Song. This spoke to me right away, because “my part” has been getting hip-checked lately. It started when my schedule was suddenly filled with doctor visits, blood draws, and medical procedures, all of which were necessary and helpful – and ultimately also successful. My condition has been reversed from “failing” to “normal for my age.” Very encouraging, but also time-consuming, and still is, and will likely continue to be, so this book came to me when I needed it most. This book clarified the need to refuse settling for less than a BEST yes. At the moment, that means staying up later at night, which is perfectly okay with me: I don’t mind doing things that are necessary, but I do mind losing my part in the song. And so, my thanks to this author for a point well made!

I thought I was getting the book and the DVD and only got the DVD. Then the material she presented was not very deep. It was milk and not meat.Sorry I guess it's a NO for me.
