AqueousCream 100g TWIN PACK

Useful economical skin care cream.

I recently had a spell in hospital and this was given to me to use on my feet. It was perfect, very moisturising and my feet improved really quickly. Decided it was a great idea to use at home too.

I have been using aqueous cream on my hands for about 10 years now. I used to handle a lot of cardboard boxes and I found my the skin on my hands was starting to crack and sometimes even bleed. Although steroid cream would usually sort this out for a while, the problem kept coming back. None of the usual oil based creams did any good so my doctor suggested aqueous cream.The transformation was (& is) nothing short of remarkable. You only need to rub in a small amount every day and your hands will be soft & smooth. Best of all, it is both cheap and ok for long term use.My only criticism of the cream supplied by 'Chemist Connect' is that it is not the APS brand shown in the photo and that is the only reason I knocked off a star from my rating.In my experience there are two types of aqueous cream available. Each of these come in many different brands. One has a smell to it and is bit greasy, the other is odourless and not greasy at all. I prefer the second one and the cream shown in the photo is the odourless one.Fortunately, although the one sent by Chemist Connect is produced by Pinewood Laboratories, it is also the odourless and non greasy type so it works for me.I am sure there are many reasons for dry skin but if it is something that affects you, I would suggest giving aqueous cream a go. I suggest you try it on a small area of skin first though to make sure you don't have any sort of allergic reaction. If it does work for you and you are going to use it on a regular basis, it can also be bought more cost effectively in 500g tubs.

This is the make that I like and ordered but wasn't the make I received so won't be ordering them again.

The cream was delivered very quickly and represented good value. It is exactly the right convenient size for holidays and the weight and volume restrictions that apply with airlines. Good service all round.
