Perfect when you want to build your own top
I bought this because i wanted to build my own desktop out of wood and have the look i was going for. This was perfect for that purpose. My only suggestion is buy 4, M10-18- 1.5 inch depth to add to what they give you. They give you like 3 that are not long enough and you have to use them other places. So the desk is unstable. But if you put those in where the desk joins the mounting piece it will stabilize the desk

Not great but not terrible
When I was buying this, it seemed much cheaper than comparable items (230 USD), but the 5-star review was entirely Vine reviewers. It is good at that price.Pros:* Fairly large. Expands to 65 in, and can accommodate a 72 x 30 in tabletop.* Numeric height indicator* 4 programmable buttons* Don't have to hold preset button down, can just click once and let it rise to the level* Speed is reasonable* Not extremely loud* Motors use standard power connectors like what you would find for a desktop PC power supply, so you can get your own extension cords* Controller uses cat5 jack (but only 3 wires in it, dunno if regular crimper would work)Cons:* Not that fast with minor weight on it (20-30 lbs)* Not that quiet with tabletop (sounds like metal sliding on metal)* Cables are built into the motors and control board, instead of being plugged at both ends* Wobbles slightly back-front* Wobbles a lot left-right* To fix a given width, you basically jam some telescoping metal bars with screws. It is imprecise and does not work well.If you're wondering about a tabletop, the cheapest one I found is a pine edge-glued 72x30 board from Menards (55 or so). Also needed 2 cans of polyurethane (15) plus a good amount of work to sand and coat it. There's precoated options like butcher blocks from Home Depot and Lowes for around 200.

Excellent works as described
Purchased as a replacement for a custom sit stand desk that had a controller defect. This one works perfectly!

Failed I would not recommend this product.
Stopped working after a year. It was a great product when it did work. I hope they can replace the parts or send me a new one because it fit my needs well. I use it in my recording studio to lift my monitors to ear level when I record guitar standing up. I spent a lot of time building a top out of glass and live edge walnut. I hope they fix it.
