Universal Fanny Pack Strap Extension (1½ inch strap)

So I was a little hesitant about purchasing the strap after seeing the reviews left by other users. Upon looking at the pictures provided, I could only come to the conclusion that maybe they had bags with slim style clips. I then measured my bags strap(1 1/2in), and orderd the extender in the matching size. When I received the strap, I was able to attach the male end of my bag to the female end of the extender perfectly and securely. As for the extender male to my bags female, I did have to try out the lot to find the right fit. Both ends are clipped in properly and will hold in place as long your not intending to use this for a game of tug’o’war. My bag in question is a Champion large font sling bag. Straps styles do not match but that does not bother me because it serves its purpose. Would purchase again if needed.

I see a lot of people are trashing this, but it worked out beautifully for me. It took me a few minutes to figure out which clasps to use, but once I figured it out the extension worked great. Would have liked to order another one for another fanny pack but it's currently unavailable. I hope it comes back in stock soon. When I purchased it I read somewhere to measure the width of my existing strap. Maybe others measured the clasps instead?

I wish I could give this less stars.I went through a lot of nonsense to make sure the strap extender would fit the fanny pack I bought. I ordered the 1 and 1/2 inch size of extender which is the size of my existing fanny pack, and they sent me the 1 and 1/4 inch. I measured it many times in disbelief, that’s how I know.This is most frustrating, especially considering the strap cost just as much as I payed for the fanny pack.What a waste.

Doesn't fit what I purposely bought them for but found another use for them.

I searched far and wide for a extender strap to fit my SoJourner fanny pack, and let me tell you... it was almost impossible. BUT this one fits... at least, it fit mine. It comes with a lot of buckle options, and one of those was perfect for mine! It does feel a bit wasteful to have to throw away the buckles that don't fit... but there is really no other way of knowing which one you need without trying it.I'm gonna be super cool and my junk will be super safe in New York thanks to this strap!

Bought this to use with my Osprey Poco AG. With a tiny bit of dremel work(like 30 seconds) , it's perfect. Theres a small bit of material on the female side that needs to be removed to let the Male side of the osprey connector slide in. If you have a small file, it might take 3 minutes.It will be a bit of a tight fit though, as it's not exactly the same height as the osprey connector. So getting it in at first can take a second. You could always take a little more material off the top/ bottom, but I didn't bother as it's not that big of a deal.

Universal Fanny Pack Strap Extension (1½I purchased the fanny pack extension because the strap supplied with my fanny pack was too short and is worthless as purchased. But all is not lost, my fanny pack has M and F buckle that will latch and the supplied extension strap included a matching set of M and F buckles none of which will latch my fannypack. The problem is one of the buckles is sewn in place on the extension strap and on the fanny pack. The stiches can be cut and slide the new buckle on the strap but then there is a loose end of the extension strap and the fanny pack strap that needs to be secured. Solution supply mid-strap-clip like the one on the non-sewn end of the extension strap. To make the strap great I need the supplier to sell or send me two of the mid-strap-clips.Bill2233

this was listed along side the bag. I had to rethread both ends. now it works well with the fanny pack.
