SAVE YOUR MONEY - Instead of getting what anyone would call 'grains', what came was more like an opaque white powder. After re-hydrating per the instructions for 4 days there were still no 'grains' or crystals, just a slimy white mush at the bottom of the jar. But I pressed on, not knowing any better since this was my first attempt at water kefir. I fermented my first batch in coconut water (as i'd read online this was easily done and acceptable). Still, no 'grains', and what came out after 2 days was nothing more than a slightly 'off' flavored, cloudy, dare I say 'slimy', coconut water. I flavored it with mint and lime to imitate my favorite commercial water kefir beverage....but I doubt there was any benefit other than the coconut water itself.....if even that was still beneficial.

These never activated. Wouldn't recommend. Tried 3 times to no avail and followed the instructions explicity.

I have been making kefir for years. Unfortunately these grains turned to mush within weeks.

Did not work...bad batch of keifer grains? I used spring water and turbino suger, tried multiple times, only got flat tasting suger water every time. Very disappointed, especially I had invested in purchasing of a case of swing top bottles, nylon strainers etc.

I've never made kefir grains before, usually I just buy milk kefir or kefir yogurt to culture my butter with! I used these and rinsed them out of course when I made the butter, my sister uses them in her kombucha and LOVES them! The probiotics in them help cleanse your system and make you feel full of energy and life! I absolutely love that feeling. The only thing I will say is if you use this, its cleaning your system so yes you're going to have to poop more than normal, but that's good. Means its working!

Didn't activate and spoiled in 3 days, I tried to save it, I recommend saving your money.
