Poor design & construction.
The cylinder of the glass is blown in a way where the handle connection creates two little pockets that allow particles to get past the screen. Also, the pour mouth is horrible and drips liquid all over the place. The liquid also touches the lid when pouring causing other issues. Would strongly suggest you keep searching. This press looks nice but that it is, doesn’t not work well for actually making coffee/tea.

Wood Warps
Works like any french press, but the wood will warp, I've only had it for a couple of weeks making hot tea in it and there's already a clear bend in the top.

Can't take the heat
This was a decent French press for the price. It worked well, was easy to use, and made a great brew (far better than Keurig, for sure). However, after only a month and a half the glass has split due to what is obviously heat stresses. It is completely unusable now

Doesn’t last
If you’re not careful the wood will warp with heat, and the glass broke pulling the filter out after 3months

Broken
Worked fine until the wooden head expanded and broke the glass

Cheap made thing
The lid was just stuck in the jar and there is no way to move it out. Don't buy this crap!

Poor Quality- lasted less than 2 weeks
The poor quality material and inadequate design left a less than favourable impression. After the first use the wooden top bowed, making it hard near impossible to take off/put back on. Although this wasn't the final straw- when left full to brew, the glass shattered leaving a liquid mess of glass shards and coffee. Not sure if this was down to the poor quality glass, or the bowed wooden top, either way I'd highly advise avoiding this product.

Terrible quality
The wood is not varnished so as coffee is poured through it sticks on the sides of the lid. This discoloures the wood, causes it to smell and i have a fear of bacteria growing in the damp wood. The water has caused the wood to expand warping it so i cant even take the lid off more than in the photo! Now i cant use it or even clean it and the glass is super brittle is broke from us trying to take off the lid. Extremely disappointed with the quality of this product and it was my first time using. I was on vacation and so couldn't use it until after a month of receiving so i cant even get a refund.
