I saw some bad reviews from a guy who installed them upside down. ha! However, since I knew what I was doing I thought I'd give them a try. I bought two of them and both installed perfectly into my brick siding. I had to order the 12mm masonry bit though, which took some time. I only wish they had a metal loop on the back so that I could chain up the bikes to the arm but I believe I could do this somehow the way it is. They do retract nicely too so it doesn't stick out and snag something.
